If Chinatsu wasn't crazy there would be no point in Yui's character. She made the show complete, it admits it right before she was introduced. The student council made the show a lot funner as well.

I found the Yui/Kyoko interactions a lot more interesting than the Yui/Chinatsu ones, which were all just one sided. I get that they probably didn't have a lot of leeway with Chinatsu's character since it's based off of a manga and all but Chinatsu was just irritating, which, I guess if the whole point of her character is to be irritating and unlikable, they did their job.

I agree the student council was great though, blushing Ayano is the cutest.

Just because Yui's a reactive character doesn't mean her interactions with Kyoko are onesided. With Kyoko she was actually able to go back and forth with her in banter, with Chinatsu it's just Chinatsu gushing over Yui and Yui just sitting there, with a few exceptions.

It's not really banter when it's just retorts, and it's not always that either. They have times when they just have regular conversations too and I think it's really sweet. Still, Kyouko's more varied with anyone else.

Yeah, you're right. I don't hate Chinatsu, I just wish she would have talked like a normal person more with Yui and the rest of the cast. When she actually did that, I enjoyed her character far more.

Chinatsu does get annoying with Yui around but when she's with others, like her time Akari, she's a more fun character.
