To be honest is not the premise what annoys me, I can deal with the loser going to a new world and getting an OP power (fiction is plenty of op characters it is not a problem).

The problem is they are good at everything, (Shieldbro, Overlord, Monster, Slime, Arifureta) all are the same, they can craft, they can fight, they have mostly unlimited resources, they have knowledge. The guy of SLIME has a sub-power that consist into a voice that knows literally EVERYTHING.

So in the end the entire series is just other characters praising them for being awesome rather than the characters actually being awesome.

Almost everyone borrowed something from entries like Mushoku, Kuro no Maou and the old isekai series. See, I'll point out something.

The thing about most isekai novels is that they overdo it. Meaningful conflict is the essence of drama: In most LNs, things are so needlessly over-the-top, or the protagonist is so powerful, nothing exciting happens.

Like, a good example is Shield Hero. After the first arc, the story is EXCRUCIATING because the protagonist proceeds to trade and level grind. Trade and level grind! Can you think of anything more fucking boring in your entire life? In the Chronicles of Narnia - for example - the kids were scared and constantly out of their depth, but they didn't spend three weeks killing fucking slimes to get good at fighting with swords. No, they just skipped past that.

A hero has to be challenged. Characterization has to be complex. You can't have the plot be "EVERYONE is an ASSHOLE, except ME, the ANTI-HERO." It makes the story come off as paper-thin.

You can give the MC an extremely potent ability. You can make him a god amongst men. But you still need a story that's dramatic, that's interesting, and one that doesn't fall into boring tropes. Look at Re: Zero - Love it or hate it, it's at least interesting because the characters are complex (well, except Rem) and Subaru has to figure out interesting ways to do shit.

This is a really good list, but it's not compulsory. Like, the story should capture the "Traveler in an exotic world" thing, the way those old planetary romance stories did. John Carter didn't give a shit about level-grinding, he threw on a loincloth and used his super-strength to lead a slave rebellion, because FUCK MARTIANS.

I can appreciate it when the MC goes in depth and all out, things like grading the iron he's using, talking about his previous failures and his various attempts and the knowledge he's gained, having and learn from others in order to get things right. The end result, even if if a bit overpowered, becomes meaningful because of the journey taken to get there, and it's even better when the weapon/tool continues to grow with the MC because he continually works on it somehow whether added refining or magic bullshit.

It's spoiler as fuck explaining the exact circumstances but basically there is one girl in his class that would always treat him nicely even before the world transfer. She always liked him and took his 'death' in the betrayal part of the story really badly. The story really builds up their eventual reunion.

The main character at that point has the harem in the OP image and loves the vampire loli. He isn't really that interested in his former class and only helps then because not all of them were shit to him. However the class girl wants to go with him anyway and he's determined to leave her.
