>Youkoso Japari Cafe!
The Suri population is believed to be only 1 to 4% of all alpacas, or at most 120,000.
And the precous thread just died when I was about to post this.
I need that cute Scarlet Ibis and Toki translated comic
The friendposting has been nonstop lately.
It's all over Japan right now but it's only being discussed here as far as English websites go. It says a lot really.
So someone made this. Must have been reading our threads.
Holy shit! even the Boku Girl mangaka is doing kemono friends art!
It started in episode 2
It caught on by episode 4 and exploded by 5
I'm not the only person who thinks the prairie dog such Baka used to be Nene.
Cute. I wish Scarlet showed up more.
I hoped that when Bag and Serval backtracks to the Savannah, these those show up together.
Kekocha just updated
Hope he finishes the picture by this weekend
Can someone post the rest/other half of the picture? I didn't saved it last time.
Also fucking Yuri on ice got top 4 on that NHK Anisong ranking. Those fujoshi are really something
>Prairie dog Friend
Why is this species such baka.
Honestly, no. It would be better to leave it somehow open ended so people would continue to imagine stuff to inspire artwork, doujins, etc. Then they could make another season as well.
>last thread had no posts for 10 minutes before dying
>thought friends went to sleep for once
>they actually just moved on to the next thread
Welp I just blew through six episodes of this, and all I have to say is すっごーい
Also I expect there to be more of the "you must be a ____ Friend" line in the show itself given how widespread it is on the internet, but it didn't come up often.
Kaban will tell her friends to kill her along with her Cerulean self as she asks Serval to be the park guide in her stead.
>Also I expect there to be more of the "you must be a ____ Friend" line in the show itself given how widespread it is on the internet, but it didn't come up often.
episodes were already made months in advance. not much they can change this late in the game, despite how popular it is
>the non stop threads on the frontpage made me curious
>epsiode 1 was bad (really)
>episode 2 was pretty okay
>episode three had me laughing and warmed my heart
I understand it now. I don't want to continue though since I might miss them before next episode.
Kaban-chan has had enough!
Sorry, typo; I "expected" there to be more of that line in the show, since I was assuming it was a meme because it was in the show a lot.
I guess it just got used in ep 1, which is the one free to watch ep on niconico though, and that's good enough.
Was I seriously the only one who was hooked from the first episode? The scene where Serval wonders how Kaban opened the box with the maps already made me realize the writing in this show wasn't going to be just an afterthought.
I just started watching it. I wasn't watching anything airing, just older stuff. For some reason I read some of a thread and knew I would like it right away.
Episode 1 seems like an episode that doesnt hook you, and the production values are pretty off putting. The cerulean fights was cheesy it reminded me its a mobage adaptation like Granblue. 2 and 3 were miles better.
No It was on my list before first episode. I thought it was shorts at first so I was surprised it was a full length anime. I did stopped watching after episode 1 for a bit, watching a lot of shows per season can really time consuming specially when you play a mobage.
>isekai'd into Japari Park world
>fucks Serval-chan because why the fuck not
Things like this I cannot even fap to.
I think episode 3 had the best "abandoned" atmosphere with the dead battery, cable car and cafe
You aren't used to the CG in the first episode, so the first impression isn't too great.
The first episode isn't really telling of the direction the show takes. It's only when you get to 2 and 3 where you develop the sense of adventure and of meeting new friends. They make a big deal about the ceruleans but they haven't been that relevant except in 4.
What the hell is up with this show? Just picked it up, two episodes in, mostly since one of the Tesabu directors is in charge of it, but the fan art for it is way over what I'd expect this kind of show to have. Read a bit about the app, but that lived for what, a year? What the hell is fueling this show? Wouldn't expect anyone but the same niche that enjoys Ishidate's shows to also like this.
That box thing with Serval also caught my eye. It wasn't until the fourth episode though that I became completely hooked on the series. The sequence where Kaban and Serval discover the underground road and the abandoned maze was really nice. I guess I just like the sense of adventure that the show gives off.
>You aren't used to the CG in the first episode, so the first impression isn't too great.
Maybe I liked it right away because I'm too used to cheap CG shows already.
But all I remember from the first two weeks was people shitting on every aspect of the show, even if they still liked it, as if it having cheap animation meant everything else from the writing to the voice acting was also bad. I just wanted to convince everyone that the show was actually good! The first episode hinted at so many good things to come!
Not at all, I loved it as well. I think the thing is that every episode so far has been better than the previous one, so in hindsight the first episode looks a lot worse than the rest and there's also it was one of the few that had a considerable amount of focus on Ceruleans instead of being just cute animal girl adventures. Even the myamyamya and yelling that some people seem to have found issue with, I loved it all too.
That's most likely only if you aren't used to or don't like CGI in general, I loved the shit out of Tesabu, gdgd Fairies and such so I felt perfectly comfortable with this show's CGI from the moment I first saw it.
>"From now on, you're a Friends too!"
For anyone that wonder where she gets the milk for her cafe.
You can milk alpacas
Ah so the character designer was a big name too, didn't catch that before. Well I guess it kind of makes sense. Eh, in any case, I for one knew what I was getting into looking at the director and am getting the rest of the episodes now. Was simply stunned that something like this caught fire so fast.
I think it's in part as well because everyone loves animal-eared girls. Most artists might have either not noticed the show or outright ignored it for the CGI, but then as people started to notice it and talk about it on twitter, they all realized what they were missing out on.
>all those episode 2 Friends who never got popular
Each times i think of a tapir, Doremy comes into mind.
Minarai Diva I am still struggling to finish, it just didn't click with me. Naria I did finish but only just, and was really disappointing compared to the others. Overall I struggled more with Naria and kept hoping it'd get better after each episode, only it didn't. Again, I didn't dislike gdgd, I just liked the other two better. These two on the other hand were pretty bad indeed.
In case of Naria, we EOPs and ESLs only got short, edited version.
I enjoyed Minarai even though we only got 3 episodes translated. The fact both of them were recorded live makes me appreciate it more.
>KemoFure spawns a ton of fanart
>Has thread artists, TL and TS
>Everybody is a Friend whose Friend is best Friend
>Also interesting animal facts being posted in every thread
>Now we have people talking about Tesabu and the like
I really didn't expect the CG anime about animal girls to have the most enjoyable threads.
Especially considering how the LWA threads have degenerated into gore, waifu and shitposting
Kind anime attracts kind people.
Call me cynical but it was pretty obvious how that was going to go for LWA. The hype threads had so many people asking to be spoonfed about whether or not they could just skip the OVAs. It really sucks.
Feels like a mixture of /co/ and /v/ (and probably a bit of reddit after so much staff attention) more than /a/ at this point. Honestly, the threads remind me of the anime forums I used to visit 10+ years ago. And not in any sort of good way.
But I'll stop talking about this now because cross thread discussion is stupid and these threads are enjoyable.
Tesagure and Gdgd are the most commonly praised ones on /a/, which is for a good reason since they're very solid.
Right through the front!
Guys, I'm really happy to enjoy this gem with you. In 6 weeks the show will end and we will shed tears listening to the ED song. This will certainly become fond memory of /a/.
Why did they make her cute?
>Kemono Friends thread on the front page all the time
I love this meme so much
It was alright, had a battle system a little more interesting than most mobile RPG's
F2P games don't necessarily flop because of their quality, even a popular game can flop if it can't force players to pay up.
It's essentially the dreaded "HFY" but more edible.
Every episode is Bag-chan being good at something other Friends aren't. Starting from opening the lid and making the plane (and the bridge later) for specific purposes, through the ability to walk long distances without getting tired, the ability to abstract and look from another perspective, the ability to infer meanings from abstractions (signs), the ability to assign tasks and greater banishment magic.
People went full retard early on this season trying to start the new big joke or something, I blame the current state of the internet. Thankfully, Japan fixed everything after a few weeks.
Panda is just to healthy in the right places
The thread is so fast. But Kemono threads on 2chan are way faster than here.
It's kinda slow right now appart from me posting fanart
Also is this the original artist for the paraplegic girl with scared one eye(forgot her name was it Bico or something?)
Great! She also did a lot of kemono friends art won't be posting all of them.
wiki is here
There was a big cast list given in the beginning of the season. Those are the ones in the cast list that still haven't appeared in the show.
It's not a comprehensive list though. For example, in this last episode, only the Moose and the Lion were there.
Gingintsune is very different from what her design looks like at a first glance.
