I never did watch this
Explain the plot in 7 words.
No. I fucking hate hippies.
If I had the knowledge that I just have to wait for S2 for best girl to come and save me, I might be able to live in isolation until she arrives.
>fresh water is a precious resource
>taking a bath on salt water is generally not good
The girls' pheromones must on the roof enough to ever up the fact that the guys also stink.
No. By the time that Earth-humans become a space-faring civilization again, the space-squids will just hang around in space doing space-squid stuff like eating space radiation and space relaxing.
As long as space humans keep attacking and miserably failing at defeating the space squids, the space squids simply evolve better countermeasures to kill space humans wasting valuable space in their space robots.
The war between Hideauze and Galactic Union is just an AI-battle between nanobots vs big robots, with both machine-sides using humans that are too stubborn to stop fighting each another.
>save the fleet from a group of pirates stealing your shit, hurting your people, and threatening to rape your women
>HOW COULD YOU
Besides the girls and Chamber, the threads were the best thing about this anime.
Autistically arguing about geography, biology and morality. And that one anon who didn't know clouds were water.
The girls were the only good part. Chamber gets half credit for being CG. The actual plot and characters were pretty shit. Should have just been a comfy SoL about fucking waterworld hippy girls.
Just don't make things escalate. See things in context. And if you have the superpower to super-accurately defeat the enemy, then just defeat them peacefully by disarming them or disabling their engines.
It had a really good first episode, pulled me in right away. Then it got a little dull but still entertaining enough to keep following it. Obviously the girls helped to keep the interest up too.
>It had a really good first episode, pulled me in right away. Then it got a little dull but still entertaining enough to keep following it.
Yea. It started of 10/10, then dropped to 5/10, and then picked back up to a 7 or 8/10
>The actual plot and characters were pretty shit.
Objectively no. The plot and setting were solid, interesting. Leto and Chamber, and to a lesser extent, Amy, were also passable characters. Although the rest of the cast were not memorable, the pieces were there for a magnificent story. Where it failed was in the writing and direction. It lost focus, started including filler, and the writing couldn't keep pace with the plot, setting, and art. Very typical of anime.
Objectively yes. The plot was fucking retarded, and everyone surrounding the MC was retarded. No, Amy was not passable. That went out the window with their absolutely pants on head retarded preachy bullshit.
>the pieces were there for a magnificent story.
Execution is all that matters, not "It could have been good."
>Where it failed was in the writing and direction.
Which makes it shit.
This show didn't need the plot that it had. The creator said that it was a show meant to give the young adult viewers the impression of what it means to go live in the real world/work place. Being a fish out of water. While they were cool, the heavy sci-fi background and the related plot was not all that necessary for that.
I feel like this could have been divided into two different good shows.
>This inaccurate depiction of a proposed real life circumstance makes sense to me because it's just like videogames
Yeah and so many people misunderstood the point that Chambers was making. Which was that it's not about who's right or wrong but about survival.
In that sense they're both wrong and right because survival is not about morality.
Maybe, though having a constant boner would be a bit hard to handle
>anyone at all above mayta
First, I did spell it right unless you wanted マイタ. Check the booru's if you want. Second she's not my waifu, I just like brown tomboys. Third;
Unironically, legitimately kill yourself and go to gensyoko. Do not pass GO, do not collect two hundred dollars and don't let the door hit you on your way out as you have unimaginable shit taste and do not deserve to live
People need to know they're wrong, a lesson you should take to heart. Otherwise they'll just keep being wrong, and that's pitiful isn't it?
Fuck off Touma, I'm living my life correctly and fixing others one internet fight at a time. Doesn't Othinus need you for something
>not being able to enjoy both healthy and petit girls
Come back when your tastes have further developed friend.
Man this show was awesome, one of those unpopular gems really worth watching.
Girls this hot is everywhere near the beachfront which is near my flat.
I live here for over a decade and enjoy it every spring and summer.
So yes, I can handle living on Gargantia easily.
no. Most of the planet is flooded. But there are several island/megafloats, and at least one major "continent"
OVA and the planned season 2 that got turned into a LN, was leading towards heading to the continent and the empire/major war going on there.
I didn't understand that either. If Ledo hasn't stepped in, Bellows and that other girl would have gotten stuffed with hairy pirate dick.
Ridget was especially acting like a huge cunt too.
It's sort of like the unspoken agreement between yakuza and police, not escalating beyond a certain point.
Open warfare in Gargantia would likely result in the everyone's death due to lack of resources.
Honestly the girls were perhaps the least interesting part of the show.
I actually quite enjoyed the story and character development. I also appreciated that the story didn't drag on.
Yes, both of those are official. Not from a manga, but a bonus book that came with the Blu-ray of the anime if I remember correctly. The character designer is a hentai artist.
The way the front cover of her bikini is cut high always drove me wild
It is official though. Do you not have proper reading comprehension.
Well considering what happens at the end of the LNs that replaced the second season, soon.
I would marry and have a large family with Saaya.
