First off, Masamune should not under any circumstances be an example of hard work. He makes Connor McGregor look like Brock Lesnar. Hell BIG SHOW is a better example of Hard Work, he went from 500+ pounds to 350-390 while being a 45-50 year old 7 foot man.
Second, it doesn't pay off. Aki always liked him and her hatred for him was retconed to be the maid being jealous.
THIRD the hard work didn't matter cause Aki was a fat fetishist the entire time.
There is no lesson here, it's just a shitty romcom that lost any message it could have told the moment the retcon happened because then it was no longer about Masamune or Aki learning anything, it was all 'OOPS MISUNDERSTANDING LUL'
>This is supposed to be the body of a Chad who constantly lifts weights
He's a hungry skeleton, really ruins the immersion desu.
>the hard work didn't matter
Are you one of those fat acceptance shits? Dude looks a million times better and feels a million times better, who gives a fuck what some slut really wants.
That's the biggest problem with the anime for me. I am not asking for Kanye from Amaburi, nor for a shoujo bishie, but if you tell me he's hot don't draw him like a generic harem mc.
Nothing wrong with being rich.
Just finished the episode, I'm having a hard time believing these aren't meme subs
They need to stop pissing about and start training Aki properly if they want to get some actual results.
Are there any other romcoms without a giant harem of fucking love interests? I actually enjoyed watching this even if the anime isn't great overall.
I enjoy the MC having a goal and Aki being tsun/embarassed/ditzy. If someone can
recommendsomething similar, I might give more romcoms a chance.
I didn't like things like OreShura because the competition between girls shatters my illusion when there are somehow 5+ girls trying to get MC's dick. This anime somehow makes the two girls/rivals work well when there aren't just girls added for LOL WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT??!?!?!
Did you update this one yet?
I think the reason I like Revenge is because of how cute Aki is. The chibi faces and reactions are so adorable. I'd ideally like something of the same style, where it's light-hearted but hopefully with real character development. Other art styles make it too "serious" for me to really just enjoy it. I don't want to get wrapped up in some cheesey drama like Your Lie in April.
