I couldn't get through it, it made me literally cringe. Although I do have to say the setting and scenery was very nice.

I hate that art style but it was cute. Compared to BL manga it's nothing special as there were a sea of simple one shots like this. But the more popular ones are the hard core rape/melodrama/drugs/abuse/Yakuza/Prostitutes ones so the simple stories never really shined.

What I would actually like is more series with fag protags but not actually be the focus of the show. Unless it's a comedy about a guy trying to build a harem and failing.

Doukyuusei was by no means anything special in regards to its manga.

It's a very good adaptation, and it's a very good anime, but as a manga it's really not better than a lot of stuff that's out there.
