I felt pretty bad for Laura this episode. Talk about bad luck, everything going wrong for her. She didn't seem too torn up about it at the end though, so it could've been worse. Even so, it must feel pretty shitty to have earned that live, and have it taken away from you through things that aren't even your fault. Although I guess she could've let them delay filming.

Johnny is an over the top dancing prodigy who can't go anywhere without making a dynamic entry and overreacting to everything. His role is to be the genius who raised both Masquerade the Mizuki, but who isn't respected by a single student, much to his dismay. Johnny spends most of his time acting as a foil to the cool and collected Orihime, and being called out but also praised for his childishness. While he is shown at times to be expressly caring about his students, like in the above mentioned Rin NO Dance incident or when he accompanies Sumire to refuse the modeling offer, he's more of an inspirational presence that doesn't have too much initiative and isn't relied on.

In contrast, Anna may seem like Johnny Rock ver at first, but quickly distinguishes herself. She takes a more active role in individual students' work, and they all respect her as a teacher and a former S4. Like someone said, her safe driving thing may seem to come out of nowhere, but after careful inspection you can find Anna very often going out of her way to warn her students against overworking themselves, and is quick to pull them out of lessons if threatened by injury. She's also more active in getting work for her students directly rather than relying on Moroboshi, and she stands up to him more than Johnny did to Orihime. Anna comes off as a concerned aunt who wants you to succeed on your own without being a helicopter mom, rather than Johnny who was more of the super cool uncle who told you everything was a good idea.

They're each very different, and that's a good thing. It's okay to like them for their own individual reasons.

In regards to Anna, yeah she may have tried to take a more active role in Rola and Yume's development, but in the end all she did was shove Rola on Lily and her old teacher who were actually able to help her, and have absolutely no positive effect on Yume whatsoever.
