I get the feeling this season was pretty low budget. The animation just looks really bad. The running loops look lame, and they seem to be cutting corners wherever they can.

Maybe I'm remember wrong, but Im pretty sure S1 looked better than this, even during the original content.
Am I misremembering or is that true?


I really hope they are just saving their animation budget for when the action heats up. Otherwise I'm scared we won't get another season for an actually good arc.

Is it performing decently at least?

Also holy shit, they darken the screen just whenever that fire bird is onscreen and when she actually does anything, it nearly goes pitchblack.
