Do you like it when anime has philosophical themes?
>>153495682
Where is that from?
>>153495682
Huh?
Sorry I can't finish reading your sentence.
especially when Shaft is in charge

shin mazinger, m8
Idk about philosophical themes, but I do love when characters get into philosophical debate (as long as their philosophy isn't pants on head retarded like a Pokemon villain or something).
Most notably the Tachikoma episodes of GOTS. Loved those lil guys.
>>153495682
I prefer shows with a lot of charm.
>>153497915
I love shaft honestly, you can tell the guys working on most their series are having fun with it whenever they can. The abstract art is nice too.

Nah, it's from Mazinkaiser OVA.

They should really make some Tachikoma OVAs, shorts, etc. Those little bastards were great relief from an otherwise very heavy and serious plot.

It's Shin Getter Robo, dude.
I prefer economics over philosophy.

>ever
>>153499037
You'll find that epistemology is far more useful than it first appears. Especially for a field like economics with so many competing schools of thought.
>>153499037
>implying those are mutually exclusive
>implying economics isn't pretty much just a sub branch of applied philosophy
brainlet get out

Shaft a best
Emotional trauma > Philosophy
>>153495682
Actually, no I don't.
It's never, ever done in such a way that really fits the narrative. I would much prefer that they take the time spent spouting philosophical nonsense into developing more grounded, interesting characters or putting work into a simple, inspiring message.
