There's absolutely nothing wrong with her getting an internship considering that, as fair I know, internships provide on-site training and experience for a real job later on for the trainee. Nene fits perfectly under this qualification.

Furthermore, we know Umiko's personality and she's not the type of person who wouldn't accept anyone for any position no matter how well she knows that person. If she deigned to give Nene the position is because she acknowledged her skills and thought she would be a good fit for it.

Probably not outside of what's already been said in the thread. Tsubame was actually pretty awesome up until that incident too, and got along with Nene just fine. That's in fact probably why Umiko noted the sudden silence between the two of them in that scene I previously mentioned.

Also of course keep in mind this is just as far as I know, from several chapters ago. But I have a hard time thinking that the author would make her seem like such a shit person anymore after that.

Momo too is pretty much as people have already said, as being an autistic tryhard. Both things making her p cute. She also clearly has a bit of a chip on her shoulder due to Aoba being the same age as her and having worked with Kou for a year, and already being a chara designer. Despite the fact that like Tsubame, she's much more skilled than Aoba was as a new hire (by the way, they're both of course not really hired yet).
