So I been looking for a martial arts story to get into. The last one I read was a manhwa by the name of The Breaker/The Breaker: New Waves. The fighting was superb in that, minus the DBZ level of talking before fighting and shit. But seeing as the artist and author are never gonna make part III, I want to pick up a new martial arts story. My search has led me to Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple.
Question is, are there any CRUCIAL plot details or deviations in the manga and anime? My plan is to watch the 50 ep anime, 11 ep OVA, then pick up the manga wherever that leaves off.
Is this okay? Or should I read some chapters in between? I'm not so much as a manga purist, but I want to make sure that when I start the manga that there isn't anything too important left out.
I haven't watched the anime, but from what screenshots I've seen it looked pretty low quality.
