Haven't gotten quite that far yet. The show is honestly pretty tiring to watch in more than short bursts.

The first episodes of City Hunter were really, really good, but after so time it becomes so repetitive that you can always tell how the episode will start and how the episode will ends.

It all started to go wrong with episode 5 where they unceremoniously killed off Makimura in a way that just fely forced and unmoving. From there on it mostly trucked on with the same story of Ryo protecting girls from evil men in suits, interspliced with some of the most annoying slapstick ever. It's a shame because I still sort of like the characters mostly. They just need more varied stories as is the case with Lupin III.

Never saw anything from this franchise so I have a hard to believing this is real, much less popular.
