One thing I like about Reggie's duels are that we see all her internal thoughts, and she pretty much talks like an irl player when she's not being edgy. Complaining about bad draws, knowing her opponent will have hax draws, etc

I wish the GX Manga didn't change the archetypes almost everyone uses. The 5Ds, Zexal and Arc-V Mangas usually have them use the same theme.
Although it's understandable in some cases like Misawa (who had no real theme) and Chazz (Ojamas are just too goofy for Manga Chazz)

A Tag Force game brought him back and tried salvaging that story by having him be an antagonist, then being surprised people were willing to help him save his girlfriend that's still trapped in the other dimension

Villains are weak, but the support cast is stronger. Midori adds a whole lot to the equation. Much better use of spirit monsters. Though my favorite part of yugioh in general will always be the first few episodes of GX where it was no real stakes dueling at school, example the first time Judau dulled Asuka. Expulsion is a big difference from eternal torment in the shadow realm. However, I Iike this better than any of the major season arcs.
