Volume 11s major problem was that it was so thematically similar to vol 10, but unlike volume 10, 11 did not have any build-up in the previous volumes, so we just meet a vast number of characters out of the blue and situations which get resolved way too fast.

For me only the last chapter felt truly rushed, quagoa genocide and frost dragons needed far more focus. And the beginning with lizardmen felt a little dragged.

But still, the Editor helped Maruyama to improve himself a lot. I am one those anons who doesn't hate on vol4, but i honestly liked dwarf adventures more then lizards.

I also liked Shalltear and Aura bonding, Ainz doing presentations and dwarfs going "did we just held a meeting with an avatar of immortal evil?"

For me it was some things that were resolved way too fast that bugged me, Gondo becoming loyal to Ainz when he just met him didn't feel like the usual sasuga at all, it just felt retarded, I agree with lizard feeling dragged out, the travel to the city with the dangers and the labyrinth felt pointless and honestly shoudl've been screen time for the dragons or something else

I hope Maruyama delivers with 12, at this point he got a habit of making a shitstorm every 3 volumes so hopefully he delivers again..
