I thought the nazi imagery was just a joke, but good lord.
>Armband with a white circle and geometric black design
>A student does a salute in one of the panels
Sweet Merciful Adolf.
Jesus Christ, I think you'd be more subtle if people started running around screaming "DOLF IS JUSTICE!"
May as well dump it.

>Ends before any cool shit happens
Well fuck, hasn't left the best impression on me yet.
Man, this looks so bad. There's absolutely no subtlety about how evil everyone past puberty is. And (not)Nazis? Seriously? I guess this series is intended for edgelords who feel like adults are keeping them down and oppressing them with chores and responsibilities. I mean it's been over a decade since I was the target audience for this shit so I'm probably just pissing in the wind here, but god. It makes me ashamed to have ever been the target audience for Shounen Jump material.
Maybe Japanese readers will see it for the tripe it is and ignore it, but who knows. Teens are stupid no matter where they live.
Kids will eat it up, but their school system is honest to God a nightmare, which explains their brutal work culture. Add the current prospects for employment in the near future in this economy, and I totally get why this manga could have readers.
> There's absolutely no subtlety about how evil everyone past puberty is.
The parents seems to be decent people, and the doctors actually tried to cheer up the girl with the terrible blood results so that's not all of them.
>For me, only some unlikely, amazing comedy could save it
I was expecting it to turn into slightly absurdist comedy at any moment. The first half of the story almost made me want to believe that was the case, but the ending seems to imply it'll turn into just another battle manga.
The theme is old and tired, the imagery is insultingly heavy-handed, and the characters are not interesting in the slightest. I usually like to give new series a chance to impress me but this one should just go straight to the garbage bin.
i doubt this gets 11 chapters, concept is so bad that it hurts, drawings are shit and every character is a trope
on the other hand medaka box was a long runner so who knows
>At least it's more interesting than that generic new romcom.
/a/ eats those like pigs eat garbage, so I'm not surprised
still, this manga isn't good, but I prefer it to the guy who did that Nisekoi spin-off
rom coms at least can have cute drawings or a genuine fun gag
here art is shit, and everything else is way too bland
romcoms would be much better if they actually used comedy instead of LE BOOB JOKE XD
I completely forgot it's getting scanlated
I should either read it and finish when it gets axed or drop now
More like nein.
Fuck, this should relate to all of us at least a little. A shitty job market with the only way up being sucking dick and income inequality growing like crazy. At least someone had the balls to address these issues.
did you even read the rest of my post or your edge didnt allow it? i said romcoms are usually shit or mediocre, but even mediocre is better than this shit
>characters that are only tropes (best friend, serious dude, childhood friend, popular bitch)
next time learn to read retarded fedora tipper
It really isn't worth your time, I read it because I have a problem.
It one nice thing, but the rest is really average not even really fucking bad like Black Clover, but just average.
Anons in WSJ threads say the same, and that not even the feMC is good. I don't wanna read it anyway so I guess I'll drop it
>pssh nothen personnel pig
holy shit you are beyond autism
I'll probably stick with it until I get bored of it, which might be soon if the battles aren't any good.
This is what I'm thinking. I should at least give it a chance, but I doubt they'll do something as cool as Medaka Box.
why are people already complaining about the characters when we've yet to see anything from them? Only thing anyone should be complaining about is the (not)Nazi party but that's obviously done purposfuly because this is aimed for kids. Everyone liked watching KND as kids.
adult opression could be much better handled than AHAHAH YOU ARE WEAK KID AND IM AN ADULT MWAHAHAHAHAHA
with a sistem like that poeple would rebell in like 2 weeks
the author sucks at making this
Ease up anon, there is nothing wrong with having a guilty pleasure or 2.
I love wallowing in my shit taste and watching some really shitty chuuni battle LN anime or reading some fucking garbage battle shonens.
I enjoy my depravity and shit taste.
to be honest nazism was a big deal because hitler ''loved'' his country
a few months passed from ''i love germany'' to ''fuck of jew'' to ''lets make all the jews and niggers fuck off''
these kids are being hit for making the most minimun mistake
Gee willikers I didn't expect such a TWEEST! I'm so shocked that MC can't confess to his crush who is now a protected special class due to arbitrary guidelines passed down by the evil powers that be!
is this what they call rock bottom? this cant go lower
at least demon's plan had a meh inital chapter and that chapter where the two MCs were shown as friends, which was pretty good
so he's awakening his powers because his waifu is going to another school?
at least make her go to another country you talentless hack
Thank you for dumping anon. Have a Taro.
I think "going to another school" is code for "the government is going to use your waifu for keeping the masterrace pure.
Besides, they said the mc just wants to live a simple life with her in their hometown.
What are you talking about? We got the full exposure about them thanks to the MC's inner monologue. There's even one character he knows "nothing about her goals", which is the most generic way to say that she's gonna be important.
This can't be real. There's no way that something like this would ever be green-lited
Bleach ended 5 months ago.
It could have concluded naturally in that time if they just kept it on. Instead they cut it short and completely fucked the brand. And they still haven't found a replacement for it.
Literally the dumbest decision Jump has ever made.
She'll be a damsel in distress that spurs MC into action with his new-found EMOTIONS-based power. Conspiracy-theory girl will be an agent that hooks him up with the underground resistance. Asshole-sensei will be the first big trial for him to overcome as he begins his quest to save his crush and right the wrongs of the world. Of course, the roots of Evil are spread out far and wide and MC will become entangled in a struggle far bigger than he could have ever imagined.
Literally been done a million times. Emotions = power, cartoonishly evil people doing evil things because they're power-hungry assholes, society is unwilling to revolt because this flavor of oppression is better than what they knew before it. MC is a hot-blooded rebel with a chip on his shoulder and people to PROTECT. I won't be sad to see this one go.
Bleach has been shit for 10 years, the sales were decreasing at a fast pace, and Kubo had more than enough time to reach a decent conclusion. Don't blame Jump for Kubo's incompetence
>ended before the MC showed his powers
Don't fucking do this to me.
I speedread it, it was generic but the end left me wanting to read more. I'll give it a shot but it'll be cancelled anyways
Dude, as an adult this political system is kinda... Good
>Everyone has a job
>able to have an ok life, even poor
Sure it doesn't allow for growth for many groups of people but if it eliminates poverty and homeless people... I want to see a political manga about this...
Why he just don't hide this piece of shit with his hair?
The novels are there you know.
Bleach was selling more than every other manga not called One Piece and Haikyuu, Hero Academia surpassed it in the last months but of course Hero Academia sells no merch or anything while Bleach does.
You're retarded if you think any of the new series(even hero academia) will ever reach the level of Bleach. More than 90 million copies in manga alone, a worldwide successful anime that sold millions of DVDs in the US alone according to ViZ and a huge merch brand.
Agreed. Unlike MC I've stared homelessness and poverty in the face. I can't sympathize with him and his desire to fuck da police because they're taking his crush away from him. I'm fine with him getting revenge on the asshole teacher- that's a small, every-day evil everyone wishes they could punch into orbit. But unemployment and everything that goes with is some scary shit. A society that guarantees housing and jobs for life (even if they're shit at the low levels) is damn good.
The thing is that this is a huge fucking dictatorship. If they like put into jails the people that didn't vote for them or similar things it'll be terrible. But for now I see this just as
>Legit reason to be angry and do something about the violence from the teachers / adults
>Scary designs for no reason
I mean show that rapeface as a normal guy. The "things are not what they seem to be" trope is better than the "I'M FUCKING EVIL!!!" things in your face.
Don't even know why everyone is shiting on the art, seem pretty passable to me.
That being said the story is really weak and I won't be surprise if this is the first one to be axed out of the 6 new series.
I'm sure if it continues we'll see it's nasty underbelly where dissenters are killed or tortured, the E-rank people are used as slaves, and how generally fucked up the people at the top are. But on the surface MC's biggest motivation is "I don't like these rules and they're taking my friend away to a different place I can't go to." For all he knows they're going to treat her like a princess and she'll have a life better than she ever dreamed of because she's SSS-tier. He knows nothing but is angry anyway. Of course he'll be justified in his anger by what gets revealed to him as the story goes on but that doesn't mean he is right now. Right now he's just an unruly punk with a grudge against the world. And for once I'd like to see a WSJ buck my expectations and have the MC be the asshole by destroying the pillars of society, but this manga will obviously not be the one to do it. It practically breaks your skull hitting you over the head with the Nazi metaphors.
To be fair considering none of us went to school in Japan there is the possibility that this hits harder to the Japanese then it does to us. It's easy to paint this all as silly and over the top and it probably is but I do think there is in fact an oppressive culture within Japanese high schools so who knows how on the nose this may or may not be.
But yeah it could be more subtle.
Oh man students with psychic powers. Maybe they'll all have unique powers and will have unique names attributed to their powers.
And then they'll storm the Adult Party HQ and find out Adults also have powers and so they'll have 1v1 fights until they reach the top.
The Adult Party will get destroyed but now the secret Child Party that was being suppressed by them will rise up and be the new villains, etc and so one.
Yup. It's a plot point in ReLife, for example.
Essentially a shady company with even worse HR than normal nip companies, longer hours, shittier quotas- the whole package. The terrible thing about them is that they of course don't advertise that fact about themselves and thus it's easy to slip into working for one. And given that it's Japan, you also can't just quit that easily. Terrible situation, really.
How much can teachers over there get away with? Mine never gave me shit because apparently everybody at my school thought I was one good snap away from school shooter.
Also this shit won't even make it to 10 chapters.
BC was never criticized for its drawing, in fact it's often praised as the only good thing about it. Which I never understood since I think its art is average and most of the designs are bland and uncreative. Also I hate how Asta's eyes are shaped.
The idea itself isn't bad (you know, if we forget that KND existed)... but the pacing kills the chapter. They shouldn't have spent so much time with world-building, the end of the chapter feels like it should have gone on longer
It's pretty fucking bad, but i think still better than most of the shonen-romcoms that got serialized recently. At least in this i can see some kind of attempt at making an interesting work. Keeping that in mind, holy shit why the fuck would he make literal nazis? Nobody in that party said "hey maybe we shouldn't associate our symbol and our attire with the most hated political party in history"? Also Mc's power looks like it will be a red string of fate coming out of his pinkie(yeah totally didn't expect that one)
I bet the author originally think of this as a fat old men NTR doujin, this shit scream that really fucking hard. Hell, maybe there's already one almost exactly as this, for fuck sake even that teacher is almost a clone from the one of True Blue.
>Throwing ethics out the window and getting rid of society's trash makes life better for the people who think in parallel with the party and make it trash for the people who disagree even slightly with the party
I'm surprised so many people are agreeing with the adult party in this series considering most of /a/ would have probably have ended up as "D" grade in this system and forced into a life of hard labor.
So? They still managed to live in a decent two story house with electricity and gas. And the hard labor is just the skewed perspective of the teacher, the dad seemed fine enough.
So why does everyone keep calling him a herbivore? I thought herbivore males were those really meek guys who can't talk to women. The MC was standing up to pretty much everyone and never went full spaghetti or anything.
>That realization that kids are just stupid, and are just doing the same "rebellion" against adults that their parents did, but thinking they are "different".
>Humans have been doing that since the dawn of time.
Christ, when will people learn?! Oh, right...
>Blob of lard.
>Rank A genetics
Also, why did the author bother to not show his power this chapter when it's obvious based on the cover image, the first page, and the way they keep bringing up he likes sewing that it's going to be some sort of thread power?
Alright there's no doubt this shit is trash.
So lets play a game.
Come up with a sewing power that will make this series at least a little interesting.
>He can now see the red string of fate and he can reroute hack into it by connecting his own string so he can influence people easily.
Like Code Geass but with adults instead of Britannia.
