They are trying to be artsy mixing messed up colors (worse than K) with crazy perspectives and shitty 3D. It looks like shit.

The story sucks as well: Relatively normal boring kid meets apathetic magic power girl and they form a partnership fighting other couples like themselves for... reasons.
