Also, Hollow had really good stuff amidst the comedic dialogue. Saber's heritage, Sakura slowly taking back the life she should have had, learning more about Ilya, the works.

I would hope that the conversation Medusa has with Avenger on why she was summoned by Sakura and what makes a monster could be snuck into HF somehow. Really solid stuff in Hollow, and in my opinion, much better comedy than Carnival Phantasm, considering Hollow has been inspiration for over a decade of good doujins. Non-ero ones I mean.

Kerry's bombs would have gone off and sealed the Greater Grail if 50 years passed.

The only reason things went as badly is because Kerry destroyed the container that was spilling mud, instead of the portal to the other side, which would have avoided the Fuyuki's fire, gave Zouken free Iri guts to use to put into Sakura, and died without telling people he wanted to blow up the grail when it manifested again, and that it was actually dangerous.

I find it hard to believe that anyone who's followed TM for an extended amount of time wouldn't be disappointed with what GO does to SN. I'm personally upset about the whole Primate Murder fiasco and even though it makes enough sense, it still just leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

While it's not directly about the game, another thing that baffles me is how some people who play GO belittle and insult the very sources that their gacha servants come from. GO is very different from the rest of the verse so I can see how it would attract a different crowd of players, but if you don't care for the source I would think that it'd make more sense to play something like Granblue since a lot of people are playing for the mindless mobage aspect in the first place.
I think that most people who easily accept GO treating the rest of the verse as a corpse and dragging it through the mud are new to the franchise in general and willing to disregard "old" information, or maybe don't even know of it having not played Tsukihime, HA, etc. When I played Extra and CCC, despite thinking that they weren't near the same caliber as anything leading up to them, I didn't feel like they were soiling the original games because they're fairly closed off stories universe-wise, as are Tsukihime and Fate but at the same time having deep and at times subtle lore that constructs a wider picture, and then GO comes along.

Grand Order should've been a more isolated story, like Apoc or even SF, and could have all the loli santa servant goodness without completely shitting on its predecessors.

Humans can have Servant's powers now. I realize this is just for pure fanservice with Rin and for other classic characters to be in GO, but it's still a very stupid addition that's been shoehorned into the lore as an actual thing that can happen.

EVERYONE IS GIRLS. People say genderbends were always a thing here, but no, it used to be just Saber, and she was an exception, not the rule. Now we have all these genderbends and they're starting to go crazy with the excuses for them, it's pretty ridiculous. The real problem with GO is that it's simply too waifu oriented because that's what gets people to purchase on a phone game. I don't think it's necessarily bad and I do like a lot of the servants, but the very nature of the game they're in means that the only exposition and exploration you'll ever get from them is in the form of valentines chocolate, christmas presents, halloween costumes and whatever retarded jap holiday they decide to create an event around in order to get those stupid fucks to fork over the cash.

I hope that content creators use GO as a stepping stone to take those servants and apply them in actual narrative intensive works where character interaction can occur beyond "UGUU AM I KAWAII"

I do think the all the OC that has popped up because of GO is neat though.

It does have a comprehensive main plot, you know. Of VN length.
The only mobage element to it is that every third scene they have to say "Look out! Monsters!" so you have to fight and spend stamina.

I would say the problem comes more from how unbalanced the servants are in F/S night in comparison to F/Z rather than the harem and romance shit.

If you compare the servant class to each other, the F/S night versions blow out their counterpart in F/Z, with some even considered to be the best in that class.

Then of course you also have to give bullshit reasons to actually "nerf" them.
