I only see hate towards the filler, and praise for Kai.
To be desu I was watching Kai on TV the other day and it honestly made no fucking sense unless you knew the story beforehand. It felt unnecessary.

Asgard was filler and was pretty good. The movies were nice as well.

I actually don't know if Dragon ball has filler, but if it does its hidden well, actually, isn't RR filler? And didn't it actually turn into cannon because it was so good? I definitely don't like the filler in Z, but I don't like Kai either. I just skip all the filler when I rewatch. I don't count most of the movies as filler though, more like what if's. I think thats why GT is regarded so low, the whole time they're traveling in space is filler, if you just watch the good parts of dark shenron/baby sagas its pretty good.
