Pretty sure somewhere in Boruto movie it's stated that Naruto says Sasuke is a greater shinobi than even him.
Sasuke is a glass-canon in the first place but if Sakura even lands one hit on anyone it's a KO. She also has more durability and specializes in evading attacks. Also has amazing chakra control, talent for genjutsu and is smart as fuck. Healing to top it all off and yes she is 100% stated to have surpassed Tsunade so it's safe to assume she has an even better handling on Tsunade's regeneration techinques than the woman herself.

Sasuke is no doubt faster than her and has his eye hax, but with her genjutsu prowess it's anyone's guess how that would go. The warping would definitely be an issue though.

She's not as far behind the others as everyone just assumes she is for some reason.

Still, yes, that was a terrible climax to the fight trying to reinforce newfound power/new generation with the lamest tactics succeeding against experience.

That whole arc was retarded in hindsight, Hidan and Kakuzu were basically fed to Konoha on a silver platter.

First they got sent after the nine-tails despite Akatsuki saving him for last and they got sent in without intel.

Then when they're attacking the monks, by pure luck a monk was away at the time and lets Konoha know about them.

Then in the first fight reinforcements arrive 15 minutes ahead of schedule so that Kakuzu doesn't kill everybody. And when that's not enough, Pain calls them back leaving the whole group and Shikamaru with enough intel for a plan.

After 6 days without sleep they then get ambushed by Shikamaru's group who have Kakashi with them since conveniently he was available and saw their argument with Tsunade and his arm is fine despite being bandaged.

During the fight Shikamaru gets the perfect location to fight Hidan and gets to his trap just before his shadow trick runs out and slips Kakuzu's blood on the blade (don't ask why the string monster has blood) and his face without Hidan noticing despite Hidan being in a perfect place to see. Conveniently, this saves Kakashi from Kakuzu.

And THEN, when Kakuzu gets them again Yamato and Naruto show up at the right time and cancel out Kakuzu's fire+wind attack with a combo technique. Somehow, Kakashi, Ino and Chouji are unharmed despite being at ground zero of the massive explosion.

And finally Kakuzu dies like a retard to Naruto's tactics. Naruto's arm is also the only thing hurt in the giant explosion that hits Kakuzu and sends Naruto flying way back. Conveniently, this injury never hinders him and the drawback is resolved by the time of his next big fight.

What I'm saying is that the guy is versatile, his sharingan drained his chakra so might as well get the most of it, in the novels he created a new type of chidori that didn't need a sharingan just a few months before losing the eye, he can adapt.
