What is your opinion on overpowered characters, /a/? Do you

They can be pretty fun if done correctly

They, like most plot devices, can be handled well or poorly. A character who is supposed to be normally powered but just handles everything with ease is pretty terrible (Kirito). You can have a character be overpowered but still be a good character (see Superman's world of cardboard speech).

Or they could be like Gold Experience Requiem in that they may be incredibly overpowered, but they don't really affect the story much, whether it be due to arriving incredibly late or just not getting involved with the plot.
