Yeah this. Fucked me over so hard I started watching romance anime and when I ran out of that I read all of Adachi's stuff and now I'm a complete romance manga whore. I literally cannot read anything else.
>first
Symphogear always gets me for a first ep. To think it's just the beginning of the ride.

I can't stand jokes like that when there are so many who literally watch the anime in reshuffled episode order.

>absolute garbage middle and end
Not worth it desu senpai

I'm going to have to go with this. The first season of Druaga was pure gold.
>>153263721
aka best order
>>153263896
>Ninja Slayer
>16:9
>>153264213
Nope. There is only one proper order, and that's the proper order. When you have already seen it, you may watch it in reshuffled order for the true season 2 experience, but the only proper way to see season 1 for the first time is in the original order.

If you're rewatching, who gives a shit.
If you're watching the show for the first time, there are only two valid viewing orders:
1. Chronological order then movie.
2. Broadcast S1 order, THEN chrono S1/2 mix, then the movie.
If your goal is to get the authentic original experience, then 2 above is the only real way to do that, and it's the only way that S2 was ever aired. The worst thing you can do is S1 broadcast then S2 in some arbitrary block. That just completely destroys whatever cohesion S2 has.
Additionally, there's a very important reason to watch in chrono order: it does a much better job of setting up the movie. That's another big reason that they aired the show in chronological order when S2 aired. Having Someday in The Rain right before the movie is critical for understanding Disappearance unless you're going to spend a ton of time going back through S1 and trying to analyze every episode in broadcast order which COULD have made sense when it was first airing because you had huge breaks between everything, but nobody is going to do when marathoning. The point is, if you don't go straight from Someday into Disappearance then you're only getting half of the experience of the film, and by far the most important job of the series is to setup the film.
Also chrono order makes E8 easier to get through.
