Don't!
>>153263504
rude
>>153263504
Cocona doesn't like cocks anon.
Reminder that this sold 800 copies, probably overestimated. It hurts.
>>153263450
Remember anons Yayaka x Uxekull is OTP
>>153260595
Just finished it, the animation in the last two episodes was a little shabby and the final scene in pure illusion felt kinda pointless, also I wish Yayaka wasn´t shoved aside in the final episode. But overall its a great series, really enjoyed it
so are they actually making a movie or did I dream that?
>>153268386
Did you actually bump this from page 10 to ask a stupid question or did I dream that? They're re-airing the tv series in theatres. There's no movie, no OVA and no new footage/content. Moviegoers get genga as a bonus, though

>season 2 never
Good, I don't want a show I love so much risk being driven into the ground by the corporate machine. Everything you could want adressed was wrapped up excellently in Flip Flappers, there's no reason for more.
>Hi. I'm Papika, PhD in 2nd wave feminist theory, and I'm here to tell you why glue-gushing gonorrhea geometry is not necessary for sexual satisfaction.
>First, observe the way my lovely assistant (that's you, Cocona) wraps her thighs around my head. Many skeptics on the Christian right have made dubious allegations about whether or not this is natural. I ask you, gentlemen, that if this is not natural, how can you explain the snug way in which these divine pillows hug my face like a pair of sapho-erotic earmuffs?...oh! Smells like lavender today....Cocona would like that part struck from the record.
>Secondly, we know from past, well documented experiments that Coconas and Cocona prototypes do not respond well to phallic contact. The Cocona Mk Mimi was so dissatisfied with Salt- I mean...the subject's inadequate penis, she almost blew up everything and tried to consume her daughter with the gaping, blood belching maw of eldritch horror that he had left behind.
>Now, I know what you are all thinking. "But we need warty hotdogs to manufacture more Coconas! How can you deprive the world of such majestic beauty?" While it may be true with our current technology, Cocona and I have been searching her fridge and dresser drawer extensively for a substitute. We expect to make a breakthrough some time in the next year, though further trial runs may be needed to confirm our findings.
>Finally, I feel the need to address the question that PR has received more than any other. "Alright, Papika, I get that Cocona has a life-threatening allergy to weenies, but surely that doesn't mean she needs 'your' lesbo-mutant ham wallet, right? Why can't she be with an ugly blonde slut with no curves?"
>We here at Papika industries take your concerns very seriously, and we appreciate your letters and the return addresses on them. Thank you and goodnight.

>the final scene in pure illusion felt kinda pointless
That was one of my favourite scenes in the show though, it's the cherry on the cake for the theme of "everyone and everything is multifaceted and you should accept them for everything they are, even the parts you don't know". It made it obvious to the people who hadn't grasped that yet, by showing what seems like "the real world" to viewers, but revealing it to be yet another Pure Illusion, equally as wierd and alien to Cocona as all the other PIs. Plus it gave us a little more insight into Salt, given that it was his PI after all and was a reflection of how drab and boring he saw the world.
And after wondering for the whole show what the fuck Uexkull was, it finally confirms that he really just an ordinary mundane rabbit, but looks so different and wierd because we don't live in the Flip Flappers world.
Was there any meaning to the nail clippers in Salt's desk?

It was also what led to the sweetness of the final scene with both of them flying away, together.
If the mood had not been so gloomy the contrast towards the bright and cheery part wouldn't have felt so strong.
Yeah, the show was basically over, but I still enjoyed being able to see Cocona once again feeling lost without her Papika and having just one more happy ending twist before it was all over.
The music playing in the background while they flew together was also really fitting, they played it a few times before but never had it caused such an emotional reaction from me.
Plus it was a nice silly good bye fake out from a show that managed to pull of a lot of cool twists and surprises along the way, it's obvious the people behind it must have loved messing with the audience a little like with the ghosts which were spooky but were actually friendly but were actually really spooky after all.

Something to do with lesbians and fingering according to some anon in another thread.
>>153269885
It means lesbian sex.
>>153270255
Everything can mean lesbian sex if you squint hard enough
Will there ever be a complete DVD/Blu-ray set? If not I hope they do a digital release.
This is your Boss for the mission.

It could be considered that way. But keep in mind that young Salt had a guitar in his room; nail clippers are something guitarists can't do without.
Some jackass is trying to sell the genga they got at the movie event for five thousand samurai dollars. You can even see in the picture that the clumsy bastard managed to bend a corner getting it home.Someone please talk me out of giving this cocksucker my money
>>153271733
Isn't 5k nippon funbucks like 50 USD?
Sounds like a ripoff. You'll probably find people willing to sell for much less considering they come free with the theater tickets.
>>153270094
>>153269805
I didnt think of it that way, I guess I still need to put some thought how I feel about the last episode. I wrote my post barely 2 minutes after finnishing the show. I was just kinda disappointed it didn´t go the way I hoped.
>>153269248
An OVA elaborating the back story or simply an omake would be very welcome. Otherwise, I agree. I feel that FliFla's narrative approach can't be replicated in a second season without losing its impact.
>>153271333
So basically the thing existed in that world due to a reason related to it, the salt PI context, but its utilization in the show and what it can be interpreted as are deliberately dropped in with awareness by the writers.
They're teasing.
They used the plot element of pure illusion to enable the delivery of it, same as they did to some stuff in the ghosts yuri type s episode.
It's a neat way they tied some shit.
>>153272609
Yeah, this.
Make it sol, a follow up, and extra fanservice basically, throw in something fun near the end to spice it up a bit. An OVA would be super nice.
Miracles can happen, look at YYS.uyushiki ova
>>153272480
Oh it's pure robbery no doubt about it. This one in particular isn't even that amazing. Problem is these are one of a kind original key frames and my supreme autism demands that I physically acquire as much flifla goods as possible. It kills me knowing I'll never own them all but damn it if I'm not gonna try. I'm already a grand deep in this series so whats fifty burgers more? I doubt many others will surface for sale seen as it's mostly die hard fans attending these events and they will likely keep them as treasures.
>>153265105
But she has a cock.
