Fukushuu Kyoushitsu is another one I want to read. It isn't really untranslated so much as really slow. Easy Going Scans releases it about every 60 days, Just checked and it looks like it is time for a release. This time next year they might even have finished the last three volumes.

He does, but fire fire fire is actually a lot more focused on action and gore. I figured that's why it's less popular. Don't get me wrong he still has sluts but there is actually very little fanservice. Especially in comparison to triage x or HSoTD

Well, it would depend what the series was? I was thinking about this the other day, and I think if it's a long series, the price per chapter (for just scripts) would be relatively low but since there's a few hundred chapters, this would encourage the translator to actually stick it through and get the easy few thousand dollars

I'm translating GeGeGe no Kitaro, Crayon Shin-Chan and just started an incredibly bizarre and old series called Doron Chibimaru yesterday.

I might drop Crayon Shin-Chan because the cleaning/typesetting takes way too long in comparison to the time spent translating. I'm a little surprised there wasn't much interest in it, but maybe my translations just aren't as funny as the original.

I want to pick up Ganbare Genki, since it's the greatest boxing manga next to Ashita no Joe, but I doubt many will care if I start 40 chapters in, and I don't feel like translating what's already been translated by another.
I picked up Lupin III yesterday, and might translate that, since only 3 chapters have been put out (and they're practically guess subs for the amount of liberties they take - although I think they actually make for an interesting read).

I had started buying Rokudenashi Blues but the scanlators suddenly started up again while I was catching up, so I don't wanna tread on their toes. Same with the (god-awful) translations of whoever it is that's doing Galaxy Express 999 now.

I'm curious how other translators handle having too much to do and/or doing it all alone. Definitely wish I had someone to take care of all the things I hate for me, since I could see myself dropping things out of boredom just because.
