Wow, I don't want to give specifics, but between certain scenes there were in this episode and the next, it's like they were waiting for the movie to come out on BD to call back to certain things that happened in it. Seriously, like three things in this episode and at least one from the preview that haven't been anywhere else before.

But otherwise it was pretty good. I haven't read the thread yet, but my idle sense is tingling and telling me people are going to be annoyed that everyone wholeheartedly supported Yume getting on the show. But you know what? They always do that whenever they're not in direct competition.

Really glad M4 got a song, it's just too bad it was a little short. There wasn't much animation, but beggars can't be choosers. And Yume's performance of the OP felt a lot better than the first time she did it too. But man, the way that Subaru keeps getting teased both by M4 and Yume over his feelings. That poor guy needs to make a move.

Only disappointment was that only Ako and Yume gave Subaru chocolate. I would've liked for more interactions between the girls and guys. Like maybe Ako giving Kanata a tiny chocolate, or Mahiru or Koharu giving Asahi something. Well, maybe next year.

This was a great episode. The M4 scenes were all nice, and we even got an actual song out of them. Personally, Yume episodes like this where she's just doing her best while still being kind of a dork are my favorites. Sometimes I feel like she hogs space, but I really do love her when she's just being herself. The chocolate scene at the end of the episode showed this especially, who else would give out Rival chocolate? I'll admit I did freak out a bit when we first saw Yume waving at Subaru while hiding something behind her back, but I think it was a nice progression to their relationship without taking it too far too soon. Yume recognized M4 and Subaru's abilities enough, but she still doesn't seem to have romantic feelings for him yet, or at least she hasn't noticed them. Also more cute sidles, Nana and Kokoro in particular this episode, which is always a welcome addition
