What's truly amazing is how Hanafags keep harking on about how his relationship with Chiyo is based on lies everytime she's brought up but then completely dismiss all the fucked up shit Hana does to Kiyoshi and even Kiyoshi to Hana as completely normal and healthy.

The way I see it, every relationship in this series is fucked to some degree. And that's the point, the joke behind this series is that functional, healthy romance don't exist among these characters. Every pairing to some degree is messed up to some degree.
That being said, it's obvious which pairings are doomed to fail and which ones have a chance. Obviously, Kiyoshi and Chiyo get along well despite the misunderstandings, and while he might be attracted to Hana because of the situations, he's otherwise terrified of her.
