I was thinking about the cover rule Snow White (live) → Pechika (dead) → Shadow Gale (live) → Tot Pop & Lazuline II (dead) → 7753 (live) → Wedin (dead) → Fukuroi Marika (live) and was anxious for Bluebell's fate. I don't want her to die.

As far as appearance goes, I like how pretty Bluebell is. She's one of the less exposing MGs. Her single glove is chic and sexy. Also, Green-Eyed MG! This is a rare breed among the sea of red and blue eyes. There were only 7753 and Tempest with green eyes before Bluebell.

After reading the book, it confirmed my impression of the cover. ACES gave off the feeling of "restlessness" and "ominousness."

Despite being on the cover, Bluebell was almost not active within the book. Yet her smile on the cover still made me uneasy, and she's closing her eyes on the character introduction page. I had been assuming Bluebell is Lapis Lazuline the Third ever since I saw that chibi sprite of her. The lily-of-the-valley attached to her back is famous for being highly poisonous, so it was disturbing...

Yes, Bluebell decorates the cover of ACES with such an adult, lovely, and disturbing smile.

Caring for a Deluge who was in a shell-like state, Bluebell told her whatever she wanted to know, took her wherever she wanted to go. Bluebell cared for Deluge so deeply that you can just feel how pale she must have been during the whole Shufflin Hunter From Hell incident.

From Bluebell's POV, we can see nothing but good intetions. The only thing on her mind was to cherish Deluge, supporting her, preventing her from doing anything dangerous, protecting her (!).

The scene where she couldn't escape from Pfle (even though she hated it) was really great. Thank you Bluebell for letting us know that Pfle has a beautiful jawline. This is invaluable information.

Deluge, Deluge, that's all Bluebell thought about while crying. Trying to stop Deluge's unreasonable actions, saying "We'll be together forever" and trying very hard to tell Deluge that she'll always the home for her to return to... How pitiful.

Although mentally weak, Bluebell never run away. In fact, she always charged forward in emergency situations if it's for Deluge's sake. This girl is beyond precious. "I can never leave her alone." Bluebell's feelings are so lovely. I want more people like her in the world.

That said, despite being such a pitiful girl, Bluebell brilliantly dodged two attacks from the Ace of Club (a very strong Shufflin II card specialized in sneaky attacks) and escaped with no damage. For a MG who doesn't normally fight, and who self-proclaimed 'I'm not well-versed in combat", I think that kind of feat is impossible.

One point of interest is that Bluebell was assigned as a salary-MG in the Research & Development Department half a year ago. She doesn't remember how she was assigned or even how she became a MG in the first place. JOKERS happened in spring that year, if we assume Bluebell's job assignment happened right then, then ACES takes place in autumn. Half a year time gap between the two events.

Another point of interest: after Deluge licked the candies, she couldn't shake away the image of Prism Cherry and the Pure Elements that superimposed onto Bluebell. Deluge also wondered why "Even though they are not similar at all." The image of the PE also superimposed onto the Shufflins she fought. There must be something to this.

Uuuuu, Bluebell's feelings of "I want to be needed" and her wish of "I want to become the place for her to return to" was actually requited. Deluge had come to need her, she cared for her and thought "I want Bluebell to be in a place where I can return to." The relationship between these two is so addictive.

It's the scene where Deluge was already hesitating about killing the Shufflin who was crawling away, because the image of the PEs keep swirling around. At the time, Deluge had already stopped her trident, but she got upset at Bluebell saying that line, and so she delivered the killing blow right then. Bluebell had wanted to be the Deluge's salvation, but she failed. I love Bluebell so much.

I think it's a good dialogue because it showed how she couldn't do anything about the messed-up Deluge.

As her lagging brain caught up on the meaning of Umi's words, Kayo's face grew paler and paler.

Who with whom? The only people here were Kayo and Umi. Surely she couldn't mean the two of them?

Why did that mess have to spill over to me? Kayo cursed whoever that guy was.

It's all because of him saying unnecessary things, that Kayo's chastity was now in danger. Even a mere kiss with Umi is a must-not. Every time in the future, if someone asks Kayo who her first kiss was, this incident would definitely haunt her for life. She would rather answer it's a pity she hadn't done it yet, than this.

Anyway, Kayo needed to think of a way to get out of this crisis. Changing the topic...... is impossible for sure. She should probably point Umi towards someone else other than her.

Umi let out a soft sigh and stared at Kayo.

And even if Umi bought Kayo's idea, it's not like they could find anyone suitable.

In other words, if Umi exerted her physical strength like this, there's no way for Kayo to resist. Being aware of that only made Kayo unable to stop the tremble that took over her body.

Kayo's agitation was starting to make Umi somewhat scared.

Umi herself knew this is not something girls do to each other. However, there's no harm, so she couldn't understand why Kayo would hate it this much. Umi did not like being rejected by her best partner. And she's not doing anything bad, so Kayo should just shut up and be obedient.

Putting more force into gripping Kayo's shoulders, Umi quickly pushed their lips together the moment Kayo's body went still.

Both aversion and a wondrous fever wrapped around Kayo's entire body. It felt like a foreign object called Umi was flowing inside of her, eating away any discomfort.

Umi was always so rough and crude and unreasonable, so it was surprising to find out how soft her lips were. It made Kayo feel like she didn't know her.

When the both-too-long-and-too-short kiss was over, the moment Umi got off of her body, Kayo awkwardly ran away from that place at once. Her heart was beating like mad, but she forced her feverish body to keep running.

Just finished reading Chapter 6.

Okay, I've really had to think about this one, regarding Genopsycho's sudden appearance hugging @NyanNyan and then apparently both of them being roasted to death.
However the mastermind at the end, mentioned that apart from Daisy's death, all the others have been done by other MGs, implying the dragon wasn't the one that killed her.

The only thing I can think of in this case is that the culprit is Rionetta because I still believe Genopsycho was killed by Akane and the reason why Genopsycho disappeared was because Rionetta used her magic to control her, since a lifeless body is essentially a doll. She then used her to grab @NyanNyan to tumble down, which got her killed.

I still believe Masked Wonder was killed by Melville however and now believe there could be more than 1 culprit.

It was awesome to see Snow White at the end who's now very stoic, clearly to prevent her opponents from reading her and with her magic should most of the time give her the psychological advantage.
