>design the perfect girl
>draw her totally fucked and off model for about 3/4 of the show
Manglobe deserved it.
>this is an actual thing
>sets up nicely
>grab bag of middle episodes ranging from complete waste of time to that was kinda cool
If you can stomach all the pretentious pseudo-intellectual bs then sure
First episode captures your attention then immediately fucks it up with how uninteresting the entire show is.
This isn't wrong. Started out strong, and I ended up falling asleep once they dragged on the sailboat padding.
Bit by bit. My sanity.
Bit by bit.
I still don't know what the fuck was going on in the doppleganger episode besides it being a proxy. The game show episode was also confusing as fuck. Come to think of it the whole last 1/3rd of the show was confusing as fuck
I finished this series this week. Started strong, I like the characters, but by the end it had totally fallen apart. The story was pretty ass, and the ending was completely rushed.
I really liked Pino though. Cute as fuck.
The game show made a lot more sense on the second watch. But it was basically explaining why the original humans made the domes and proxies.
And why they were like eldritch vampires.
Here's a little secret for you:
Pino is actually the main character
It's a joke. There are literally like 10 total good shots of her.
it's so obnoxious how people shit on this show because it doesn't follow a set template that they're used to. it's pretty clear that the story is supposed to be ambiguous and a lot of abstract elements in episodes are used intentionally. perhaps this isn't done not in a masterful way, but still in a good way. but stop shitting on the show just because it's not aimed towards you as an audience, it's clearly a niche anime and you should treat it as such. personally I thought it was pretty fucking good.
