Seriously, what the hell is this supposed to mean? Is this Shirou at his most retarded?
>inb4 secondary
It's pretty clear if you're not autistic
it means while you can be correct, it doesn't mean you are right
how hard is that to understand?
"right" as in "just"
>>153150927
"People should be punished for breaking the law."
"Not every law should require a punishment if it is broken."
That's just one example OP, use your fucking head.
It's a bad translation of another awkward Shirouism; there was no such distinction between 'right' and 'correct', because Shirou uses one word. Shirou can't school Archer on logic because Archer actually knows what he's talking about. And Shirou doesn't question Archer's 'righteousness' (seigi) because EMIYA is actually a goddamn superhero (seigi no mikata). Neither befits Shirou, a character motivated by feelings.
Shirou means "You're correct but that's all" or "You've got the facts right but I don't agree with your conclusions" or "You're not wrong, you're just an asshole". Saber condensed this shit with the parallel to herself. It's basic perspectivism.

if the correct solution to an issue is say.. genocide. it doesn't mean it's the right decision to make even if given the scenario it is the correct one.
it's called ethics but they're hard to grasp when you have your face buried in 2D panty shots.
>>153150927
UTW translated it as "being right isn't everything".
>>153151614
>genocide is correct but not right
No ethics makes a distinction between "right" and "correct". One entails the other. "Murder is wrong and therefore never the correct solution" or "Murder is the correct solution to this problem, therefore it is the right thing to do." Separating the two is the sign of a confused mind.
TM fags are braindead and need to stop circlejerking chuuni works they themselves fail to understand.

This. The exact Japanese was
>お前正しさはただ正しいだけのものだ
Your correctness is merely correctness. In the larger context of the scene, Shirou is talking about how his motivation is hypocritical yet remains a beautiful and pure ideal for him. So even though Archer is correct in every sense of the word, Shirou still denies him because his motivation is based on the pure beauty of his ideal, not how correct it is.

That line wasn't in the VN.
"Just because you are factually aware, does not mean your conclusion on what to do is morally justified."
>>153151552
>superhero (seigi no mikata)
That's not what Seigi no Mikata means.
See this is what english speakers don't understand when japanese talk about justice, they're not talking about being superman.
Killing any baby that was born retarded or with a disease will strengthen the human race as a whole and lessen the chance those genes will be passed on. This is correct. It is not right however.

Yes it is. Do you have a grudge against Denmark or something?
>>153153501
Careful with that edge.

It's a fucking flatland.
