Anime is a radically different format from video games and it would thus work horribly just like every video game to anime adaptation ever. There.
Just because RE has a lot of cool shit that was entertaining to experience through gameplay doesn't mean it would be equally as enjoyable as a cheaply produced non-interactive TV-animation with more focus on the corny narrative rather than survival horror.
