Bird got probably the least amount of character assassination of the Gataris. She's exactly doing what she thought she would be doing, namely starting a hobby and dropping it again after a few weeks.

I hope Nisio gets back to her story someday. Everytime she has dialogue we get to hear how she's kind of melancholic about not knowing what kind of person she is and being annoyed by her own lack of motivation. It kind of is a shame that that whole plot string is left hanging.

The same thing with her figuring out her own identity or about supernatural stuff in general. Getting kidnapped by Ougi results in fucking nothing and Tsukihi Undo has her die and forget everything

Crab went away long before the others so at least it was an original concept, but then we also get crab being overseas, ok that's still in the realm of possibility.
