The best anime of the season, if not of all time.
I agree that its the best anime of the season.
>"I only enjoy mature anime something something like myself"
>literally your 3rd Josei anime
It's good but there's no discussion besides cuckposting, if you want to call it aots you might as well start drinking alone at home.
Is this a sad show? I've been wanting to watch it but I can't handle any more sad shows. If it's a comfy show with minor inconveniences, I'll watch it but I just need to know if anyone dies in this.
Just how much homosexuality is there? I'll be honest about my bigotry
that homosexuality makes me uncomfortableand I avoided this anime I because of it. I thought it looked semi-interesting. So to those that have watched it, how much is there?
also there is one cross dressing ep, but Rakugo has some rules, kind of like old style theater, where women weren't allowed on stage so guys have to dress up like one for female roles.
>all this projection
>>there's no discussion besides cuckposting
You haven't been to Rakugo's threads much, haven't you?
It's kinda fujobait but it doesn't have any open homosexuality. Sure, one of the main characters is a dude and he plays a geisha in a play (for like 6' out of 13 episodes) and he has a platonic relationship with his aniki, but you don't call Gungrave homosexual, or any other anime with adult male friends caring a lot for each other.
Not even the cuckoldry is real, but /a/utists like to shitpost because it's fun, even though they have subpar interpretation skills.
Btw, if you have even a hint of curiosity, abandon this thread and watch the first 3 episodes and hope for the best. You'll get a bunch of spoilers which ruin all the
I was about to agree with you because I thought it was Onihei, but nope.
This was spooky as fuck.
Nope, they grew up together and they were like brothers to each other.
Both of them were clearly in love with the same woman.
Some people thought Bon might be gay due to him rejecting Miyokichi. However, there were plenty of time in which he showed genuine attraction toward her, and the main reason he rejected her was his own inferiority complex (started by his parents rejecting him, and Sukeroku being a natural at it), which made him feel like he had to become good at Rakugo in order for him to feel like he wasn't a good for nothing - by the time he started finding out what his style really was he became so immersed in Rakugo, and that ended in him rejecting Miyokichi.
>he rejected her was his own inferiority complex
Nah, he rejected her for Rakugo.
I agree that he did love her though. There was a recently translated interview with the VAs and we get more insight into the relationship of Kiku/Miyo.
You mean Kemono Friends, right?
>Nah, he rejected her for Rakugo.
Yeah, but he became so immersed in Rakugo, because he was clearly jealous of Sukeroku being a prodigy at it.
Once he started discovering his own style he focused solely on Rakugo, in order to become as good (or better) than Sukeroku.
For Bon, in many ways, this was to prove himself.
