It's a shame Handa-kun sucked so much. They took something with an interesting setting, interesting concept, and interesting characters...and dropped it straight back into Japanese high school. Didn't even pass the three-episode rule for me.

I've only read the manga, I have to agree though. Also the plot is too similar to Angel densetsu, but worse as it's more repetitive.
