>it's been FIVE YEARS
Truly a classic trainwreck anime.
Something about the instrumentals in the 1st OP still gets to me
>You will never relive the weekly guilty crown threads
>you will never say you drop the show every week only to watch it again
>you will never see Daryl and Tsugumi end up together
Why even live?
In the hopes that we get something just as fun again. Maybe R3 threads will manage to be entertaining if they aren't entirely shitposting.
In terms of being shit or being good?
In terms of enjoyment though SamFlam is a good contender though it was obviously not a trainwreck.
I don't think it can be replicated again. There was something organic about the threads back then. Now it feels like everyone's forcing memes and trying hard to emulate those threads.
I keep forgetting to save the Judgeness webm from Mayoiga that perfectly captured artificial/forced trainwrecks but yeah, exactly that.
This right here is still my favorite moment from the series on /a/.
This was such a mismanaged show. It's amazing how much went wrong, especially when you had a fairly interesting concept.
I personally think the main problem was that Shu was kind of a beta faggot (He makes a pair with Haruto from Valvrave) and there was no reason for him to have the power. Like, if he was cooler, or more hot-blooded, or anything besides a wuss, the show would've been crazy fun.
He didn't even have anything to be afraid of! The moment he got a Void, he became a super-soldier with force shields, a super-jump and all kinds of shit. He should've been the biggest-dick OG in existence.
>mfw GC tried to replicate CG success and utterly failed
Let we forget that the Aniplex trilogy of shittiness started with Gulity Crown
I'd argue Samurai Flamenco was as much (or as little) of one as Code Geass to be honest. I like them both though. They're crazy but they're also mixed with good stuff. Can't say that for GC.
