Has a random reaction image or screencap posted in a thread ever spurred you to pick up an anime or manga series?
All the Sabagebu images I saw for years finally drove me to watch it.it was great
I read Watamote after seeing reactions pics. And I watched K-On! because of pictures of Mugi's eyebrows

Better question, what reaction images have completely turned you off a show?
I'll start with DB Super. The more images I see the more it looks like a deviant art fanfic
I watched D-Frag because I saw a picture of Tama in some thread and I like big girls with twintails.

I've probably picked up at least a dozen shows from screen caps/reactions alone.
Just yesterday I marathoned Masamune-kun no Revenge because of a short sequence of stills of this scene.
From the pictures, I thought that it was about a dainty girl who only has male friends, for whatever reason she's just awkward around other girls I guess, and so some of the boys in her class decide to help her make female friends. Of course, the boys who decide to help out don't actually have much experience with talking to girls, not counting their shy female friend, so they aren't very useful. In this particular instance, they assume that since normal girls like cute things they'll put a ribbon on the main girl and have her just mingle in with the other girls. The show could be a lighthearted tale about a girl who just doesn't fit in well with other girls, and all her male friends are projecting their own hopes and dreams onto her, like if she can do it, they can do it.
Maybe there would be a sad arc when she starts to have success making female friends, but then she can't spend time with her old crew the boys. By the end, the distance between her and the boys in class would be noticeable, and with her difficulty in joining the female hierarchy she would find her self alienated from everyone.
But no, after watching the show I realized what I thought was a girl was just a trap refereed to as "the designated bottom."

I've finally caved on konasuba because of all the darkness posting the last couple days, usually not a fan of mmo isekai stuff

Seeing screen caps of Kazuma demanding half of the fairy nation's capital made me go and watch Kaze no Stigma.
I dropped it before I could reach that arc because the heroine annoyed the hell out of me. If it was the girl of the 2nd arc who became the heroine, the anime would have jumped up to an 11/10,
