If you mean, latin dubs, they usually are much better than American ones. And usually don't remove stuff from the show. I had to watch Sailor Moon Stars in Spanish because there was no way to see it in America (until I found the fan sub).

I'd argue there's a lot more to it than just that. One of the reasons CCS is such a good show is that there's multiple layers to it and not just love + magic.

I'd think the underpinning of the show is both figuratively and literally a coming of age story focused on Sakura. But outside of Sakura literally going through puberty and changing how she sees the world, she is indirectly improving the lives of everyone connected to her.

Tomoyo being obsessed with Sakura is just like her mom being obsessed with Sakura's mom. The male teacher who loves his female student being just like Sakura's dad and mom. The great grandfather who has to let go of his pride and accept that Sakura's dad was right for Nadesico (through meeting Sakura). Sakura helps Touya let go of the past (her female teacher) and grow closer to Yukito. Sakura grows to be what her dad loved about Nadeshico. And of course Sakura reunites the two families that hold the Crow bloodline by getting together with Shaoran.

I really worry about them making a sequel. Everything was wrapped up perfectly.

Comparatively, in his mind, the Light Side is good just because its the light side. And the dark side is bad just because its the opposite. CCS got more viewers than Sailor Moon did. It was the most watched anime up to the year 1998. Surpassing Eva and Sailor Moon. There's just too many ways this can fail and very few ways it can work. And all signs so far look to failure. My only hope is that they can get the original anime team back and salvage it. Even if they have to completely change the story like Angelic Layer did.

The Time card takes the most magic to use. Sakura can only keep it working for a good 5-10 seconds. And that's only to stop local time. She can't use it to travel back in time. It takes a huge catalyst of magical energy (like say, a magical tree full of Clow's magic) to actually travel anywhere in time. And even then, it has its limitations.

The idea that Sakura could influence the whole world to travel forward in time or keep the whole world in a certain time frame for decades is pretty ridiculous. Even for CLAMP.

It actually makes a considerable deal of sense. The palatalized "sha" sound is represented as しゃ a combination し (shi) and a small や (ya). Not only that, this pattern of writing extends to other consonants which we do romanize with the y, like ri + little ya making a rya or ki + little ya making a kya. From an organizational point of view it's even more elegant to write sya instead of sha.
