I was surprised to find out Horihone Saizou did non-hentai manga. Drainage City is still the weirdest h-manga I've read. I always felt his porn stories had this bizarre cuteness despite their disturbingness. His non-porn stories have just the same adorable feel without being (as) disturbing.

The Kaiji manga has enough material for ~3 more seasons worth of anime (which it probably wont get). I personally didn't like part 3 because it was about mahjong which I didnt quite understand, part 4 however was very enjoyable and part 5 is being translated.

The page I posted is from another manga from the same author Fukumoto, and it's called "The strongest man kurosawa" which is about a 44 year old single man that feels like he's "failed". Worked as a construction worker all his life, his peers don't respect him and he has no friends, and the manga is all about him trying to become a better person. What really gets me into this manga is how "real" it is. Remember in season 2 of kaiji when he was stuck underground and had to save money to buy himself out, but couldn't resist using it all up? That feeling of realness and humanity is what this manga is all about.

Another manga from Fukumoto I'd recommend is called Tobaku Haouden Zero which is essentially a smarter, less pathetic kaiji participating in death games.
