So just how do Trucks always seem to appear from nowhere? Trucks are big loud machines, often with bright lights. Are the people just walking out into the street and not bothering to look and see if there is oncoming traffic? Is the truck moving at mach speeds that you can't react to? Have all trucks in Japan been fitted with silent electric engines?

How do you miss seeing or hearing a giant fucking truck barreling towards you, even if the driver is asleep?
