There needs to be a balance. The anime cut out all the gore of a manga that had a lot of gore. Not a good move. The OVA put the gore back, but also added fanservice panty shots wherever they could fit one in. A few are fine, but the OVA had way too much.

I really did like the style of the OVA though, but that's not to say I didn't like the style of the original either. I would greatly enjoy reboot though

the anime art was ok.but the censor really hurt it,and how it was directed was bad,the manga made him seem amazing like the ultimate human shield,but the anime just made him seem like a worthless shield
