I think after that slap, Griffith certainly fears that. There's little doubt in my mind that he did send Rakshas to kill him.

The new stuff does have its moments, but something about it just seems to be inherently wrong to me. It's as if the "pencil" is too wide, it leaves to room for intricate detail. I really hope he can win me over though, we'll see.

As for SK's backstory, it'd be cool i guess, but we know the gist of it already. The only thing new we'd really learn is who sacrifice whom when it comes to Void, and under what circumstances, and it's already heavily implied Void sacrificed SK.

Also i definitely think there will be a LOT of doubts in her mind about Guts.
Some of her fear for Guts in her retard stage will most likely carry over subconsciously.

Her regaining her mind and falling back into Guts' arms is too much of a happy break.
If she DOES fall back in love with him, thats a HUGE red flag and she will most likely die soon after.

Look at the little details, his mouth is sewn shut, like a false prophet, his eyes blind like a prophet, instead of moral truth, he seeks only material and emotional causality, represented by the big brain.

Obviously vagabond, but we have the same problem there as berserk. Look for Shigurui, as I would say it's at a similar level story wise, and almost at the same level art wise. It's a goddammit masterpiece, and it's actually complete
