Her being a superhuman would only work if the twist was she had already had her Magical Girlhood somewhere else and simply got hardened and cynical from the experience.

The delinquent angle is a decent touch, but it and this chapter is just executed very poorly. Fells like one of those movies that makes fun of the Disney formula without any basis.
