Are you ready /a/ ?
I knew this day would eventually come, but I had hoped it would actually come somewhat close to reaching the manga's art quality.
I see now that it was truly an unrealistic dream.
Get ready for light beams and censorship everywhere.
I don't understand why they don't just put it in a late night spot where they can get away with nipples and sexual content.
I can't see it being good in any way - It's almost impossible that they have the necessary budget for the animations. Also it is pretty much impossible to not butcher everything using lightbeans
The anime addaptation was going to be shit. Everybody knew that.
The manga has a unique and complex artstyle (animation companies hate that). The always present borderline H scenes can't be shown on TV. And the action scenes are so good and dynamic that a high budget will be required to make a proper animation.
I just hope the anime increases manga's popularity. It's a really good manga and it's underrated as fuck.
Kuraya has never directed a full series, though his storyboarding is pretty good at least. Might be alright.
Preview barely showed anything, and previews don't really mean much anyway. People are going to be disappointed on /a/ no matter what. The manga has just built up too many expectations, and people mostly just look at the current art and not the 9 years worth of evolution that lead to it. There's also no way it can deliver on the lewdness without being implicit, using clever blocking or just generic light beams and steam. Maybe a lewd OVA or two after the TV anime has run its course.
>previews don't really mean much anyway
Really nigger? You must be in denial. The PV showed character designs and some action, both of which look mediocre as fuck.
And no, PVs looking good does not mean the whole show will look good, but bad PVs means the show almost certainly won't look any better.
The character designs look fine and faithful to the manga. Eight seconds of action aren't representative of even a single scene, let alone an episode or an entire season. If your contention is that if it doesn't blow you away then it's a complete failure, I probably don't have any sort of response that would satisfy you.
The TV anime won't deliver on the lewdness the way some readers want, because it just can't. For some people that will be a dealbreaker. It might deliver a satisfying experience in other aspects and I am open to that possibility. I don't think that preview is enough to pass judgment on the entire show.
Female seiyuu for shota and teen boys isn't anything irregular.
A Moment Of Valor Shines Brightest Against The Backdrop of Despair
You don't preview an adaptation the same way you do a completely original work. It gave a first look at the two main characters and basically said, "the anime exists, stay tuned for more."
at first i thought that deities were tsukumogamis that have been existing for milleniums.
>You must be stupid if you think that PV is bad. It's actually has 300% more beautiful than any fujoshit anime ever created, m8.
but indeed the PV quality is decent, i was expecting berserk tier quality.
Sort of since their power comes from the crystal thingie that can be broken and has similar spirit power as tsugumogami, and that power decides what kind of body the deities can sustain.
Since kukuri had to maintain the forcefield she was loli.
Wow the anime isn't even out and people is already shitposting.
>jojofags has no show to ruin since no part 5 yet
>will likely flood to tsugomomo once webms of the fights pop up
I'm used to retards ruining good things already
Almost forgot about the crystall ball san
She will appear again i'm 100% sure.
Who i am worried for is chain girl.
since she seems to be secondary as fuck.
The only thing that's retarded is you because you make the whole anime community in shame. considering xebec as mainstream and considering xebec has good animation let alone good design.
>fucked up art
>original ending do not steal
>fanbase and manga threads ruined forever
1/2 since she has to win against her evil brother that possesses a chain too.
This manga amazes, it's the only time in years since i enjoy an ecchi.
even if its plot is generic (at first) the author handled the porn part suprisingly good
and i really like the character designs aswell (although kazuya looks normal as fuck but that's not bad at all).
I hope the anime makes the series popular.
I think the author has plenty of potential.
I took the liberty of researching some of his old doujinshi stuff, and you notice that his composition skills were way over the standard fan made stuff.
Getting better at storytelling and world building is harder IMHO.
I do not think you can just grind through it, as you can with drawing.
Also, artists that match that ultimate combo description are quite scarce *sad*
>he's self-taught, right?
>He should spend some time to learn how to write good too for ultimate combo
like sir >>152544931 said he will have to read a lot of reference stuff and come up with good ideas it's not just physical skill and discipline, i hope the guy is lucky and has success in his career.
>He's already 40 years old.
wew lad, wonder if it's a depressed salaryman
i still got chance of accomplishing my dreams
I dropped this years ago and I don't remember the artstyle being anything fantastic. Has the mangaka's art evolved so much?
I'm amazed that they couldn't be half assed to keep what was making Yoshikazu's style recognizable.
Not talking about the amount of details here. But the way he shades eyes isn't that particulary complex yet they still couldn't bother to keep it. Same for his general colors. Or how he shades the highlighs of the hairs with dots.
And I wish they tried a bit to keep that "traditionnal" vibe his covers gives, like by making lines and shading more rough, Anime looks way too modern and clean. Again, it's like they were scared of making something that stands out even a bit.
But that's wrong you fucking retard. Artstyle pretty much swtiched from comedic shonen to seinen.
I want people to pay me for drawing shit for them, of course i want to be extremely good at it. I also want to have a happy family.
To my eyes his artstyle became consistent at the early middle of the manga, and the author was always capable of drawimg scary shit.
More like the manga got a more serious tone.
Start leveling up those drawing skills anon, loving what you do can make a big difference, why not starting by taking some drawfag requests?
>i dont want to deliver ugly shit
Even if i delivered a crude sketch on a paint you will rarely get criticized for it, the only exception is if you actually asks for evaluations on your art, but even then they wont call you a shit drawfag and will openly and earnestly criticize in a positive way.
Yeah, when I begin read the manga both the art and story seemed generic Shoned with some Ecchi throwed in, but by Vol. 5 the art became more detailed (the colored pages are a glory to behold) and the story twisted entirely for the better.
