>Now that you're vulnerable to bullets, this would be the perfect time to fucking kill yourself.
What did she mean by this?
The thing with a human ranking is that no one knows yet how powerful Roshi is. But from Goku's generation, yeah, Tien is the strongest human and he's always been, since he showed up. Krillin isn't too far away if he trains properly and if he finds his courage. Krillin's problems have always been self-doubting, mostly. His wife knows it and that's why she pushed him.
>Roshi fights on par with Frieza's elite forces and is stronger than Gohan and Krillin despite both of them training for tens of thousands of hours and Roshi being an old man
>was scared shitless of Raditz and Dragon Ball Piccolo
Really makes you think.
>Toriyama still calls Krillin the strongest
Toriyama doesn't even remember what he had for breakfast this morning, why would I listen to anything he has to say regarding logical consistency in a story he finished decades ago?
I didn't know that Toriyama said Krillin was the strongest.
In any case, the last time humans were relevant, waaaaaaaay back in Cell's arc, it was Tien the one who could Cell 2 back a little. It was pretty impressive. I've never seen Krillin reaching that level. He might become stronger than Tien in Super, but in Z he wasn't.
Reminder that Farmer with Shotgun canonically has a power level of 5 so Krillin canonically now has a power level of less than 5.
I just hope the tournament doesn't became all about Goku and Vegeta again. I want the humans to be relevant. I want Piccolo to be relevant. I want Gohan to be relevant. One of the greatest things from DB in general was the large cast of characters, each with their own strengths. Super has been relying too much in Goku and Vegeta so far. Only Trunks broke the cycle. I hope the supporting characters get a few minutes to shine.
>he could withstand bullets from a automatic weapons without getting pierced by them.
Anime censorship, actually. In the manga Kuririn and Roshi are shown bleeding from being shot by Launch (while Goku isn't).
Wait, Krillin's powerlevel is below 100 now?
This is why the powerlevels are bullshit meme needs to stop. Their powers now wildly fluctuate as the story dictates because there's no proper measurement anymore.
>Krillin marries the hottest girl in the series
>Has a family, and just wants to sit around, have sex and raise his daughter
>Keeps getting roped into this Dragon Ball bullshit time and time again
JUST LET THE GUY FUCK HIS SUPERMODEL WIFE IN PEACE
>18 is stronger than picollo
At this point I doubt it. He's was evenly matched with 17 back in the Android saga, and form then on he's been training while she was busy being a mother.
Tien lost that lead after Krillin had his potential unlocked, skyrocketing him over 9,000 in a day.
There's nothing to suggest that he ever regained it. Even back when Tien's power level was technically higher Krillin was the only Z-fighter to make Nappa bleed.
hey, i always thought this place was 100% populated by 12 year olds or adults with the brain of a 12 year old but you just made me laugh and i didn't think this place could do that
so now it's 99.9% 12 year old BS and 0.1% good stuff
My head canon always said that, while 17 may or may not have been stronger than 18 and he seemed to be beating kami-fused Piccolo during their encounter which would probably put 18 at just about even with him back then, in the Buu saga he had many years to train and improve while android power levels are permanent, to my knowledge. He was probably already stronger than her before the cell games even started because he spent a year in the time chamber, if you recall. I agree though that 18 is under utilized as a fighter.
You see, back then they didn't know about chi so they always had a powerful chi barrier around them.
These days they know about chi so they're constantly keeping chi down to save it, leaving them vulnerable to small rocks, laughably weak lasers or bullets.
You now realize DBS made this dumbshit filler canon.
>These days they know about chi so they're constantly keeping chi down to save it, leaving them vulnerable to small rocks, laughably weak lasers or bullets.
In other words, it's bullshit.
He's simply lost his spirit. The gap with the aliens is just too big and he feels that training is useless, since he'll never achieve their highs. Power levels were always bullshit. The point here when Krillin gets hurt by a toy (to their perspective a gun is a toy) is to show that he simply gave up.
His wife was probably stronger than him, and probably will ever be. But she respected him when he went to face Frieza and his minions because he showed determination and spirit. No his confidence is so low that he's an actual wimp. It'll be nice to have him back.
Also, this episode was outstanding. Top quality filler.
Goku and Gohan's quick sparring.
Goku and Krillin's quick sparring.
Roshi imparting wisdom once more.
Uranai Baba! I was so happy to see her.
The old enemies showing up.
This chapter was too good to be true.
>Top quality filler.
I mean by Super standards I guess it is okay, it's nice to see Gohan not being a cuck for once.
But super's SOL filler is such a monster step down from the early buu saga SoL it only makes me want to rewatch the early Buu Saga.
I just dont get why the DBS writers would make Krillin get hurt by gunfire when early DB Goku could tank bazookas and explosions and getting shot with ease.
Consistency goes waaay weird sometimes.
The question is how much stronger, though? Are the cybernetic enhancements a multiplier, or are they a flat buff? I image they'd have to be the latter, if they were the former 18 and 17 could likely surpass majin Buu, maybe even approach god forms, working with outdated ass technology.
Imagine, if Gero was alive and he wasn't a crazy asshole, he could have probably built cyborgs capable of killing beerus by now.
Because Toriyama himself kind of retconned that shit, making most of the fight power of the characters chi-based (as opposed to muscle based like in dragon ball, see: Roshi's training). So now if they lower their chi they're weaker than they were when they were 12 in dragon ball.
Super is stupid but I forgive it.
Can't wait to witness the legend.
Limits mean nothing in this series.
Even yamucha learned some new tricks.
If anything he could train himself to wistand kaoken or to better use his famous attack.
I will say that I miss krillins sneaky scheming ways.
Considering it seems to ignore power levels and armor, it's horribly unutilized.
You'd think someone would have taken an interest in it.
Just imagine solar flare+kienzan at close range.
Or just kienzan to the face during melee.
If frieza's an indicator, they can be guided.
Give the man a scope and let him snipe.
Lastly, goku needs to teach others instant transmission, denkidama and kaoken already.
>not changing your clothes after a bath
>Krillin's problems have always been self-doubting, mostly.
When was that ever Krillin's problem before Super, other than that one part in DB with the temple bullies?
Hell, if there's anybody in the series who's good at accurately assessing his place in the power ranking, it's Krillin.
Scaredy-cat Krillin is more of Super fucking with the characters.
That was only one fight, and it was one that only sparked because Vegeta wanted a fight, was getting his ass beat in a one on one, then everyone else tried to step in. Even Kami was critical of Piccolo's actions.
Still, Krillin was able to muster up the courage to actually just talk to 17 and 18 about what they were going to do. And then later Krillin showed a lot more spine by getting into a fight against someone who actually needed to be fought by trying to defend 18 from Cell even though he's a lot weaker.
Back in the 2nd tournament Krilin couldn't unleash his real power and was only able to hurt Goku once. If he had been able to go all out it would have been a more interesting fight.
when Roshi first faces tien, Tien confronts him and asks him why he puts on a show and doesnt let his actual power out.
Roshi tells him that its so that his students dont get discouraged.
Roshi is an immortal ( due to phoenix) extremely strong martial artist hermit, he doesnt give a shit, hes likely at the same level as tien and krilin, perhaps stronger.
King Piccolo was actually almost as strong as the Nameless Namekian.
What Roshi really did was successfully seal most of his power away and even the dragon making him young barely did anything afterwards.
Saying that Broly is canon because there is a character from another universe who kinda looks like him is like saying that Cooler is canon because of Frost.
Fuck sense, this series started with a monkey kid getting shot in the face and only getting mad about it.
Not true at all, Roshi wasn't holding back against Tien back then, and he officially retired after that fight. He may have been able to fight some more, but it's unlikely he'd have won.
Death of the author invalidates word of god pretty hard.
That said, Krillin is definitely the strongest. He got ahead of everyone on namek by quite a lot, and neither yamcha nor tien ever closed the gap.
Tien has the most powerful ki blast attack in the series, but he's not as strong as Krillin.
I was pleasantly surprised how good this episode was for Super and I like how they're addressing the power creep. Wish we had this episode sooner.
God Ki was a mistake. Or rather, making God Ki saiyan exclusive was a mistake.
Ridiculous is good, but not at the sake of internal consistency. Yeah, I want powerlevels to be less important, but not with no explanation whatsoever besides bad writing.
