1.0 and 2.0 are fine, not better than watching the series but still enjoyable and not bad. 3.0 however, it's a fucking disaster.

It jumps the shark with the fights and the spinning flying ship. But appart from that I did not really hate it that much. 2.0 butchers some iconic scenes in my opinion. And well there is also the no-character development/character murdering that is common in the entire Rebuild.

I hate the new third impact. Not only as a third impact compared with EoE, but for the way EVA-01 gets the S2.
EVA going feral was greatly done in NGE. In Rebuild when they go feral, they grow a fucking tail.

Also what do you guys think of Mari ? she doesn't have any real backstory plus she really is unnecessary, think about it : would it have changed much to the story if she wasn't here at first ? Maybe Anno wanted to make it an important part of the story that there are 4/5 eva pilots depending on how you count. And so, he needed one to replace the lack of Suzuhara as a pilot in the movies.
