It looks like you're mistaking something about mangakas anon. Artists don't draw things that they don't like, especially when the job is that difficult. Mangaka artists do take popularity into account, but they also draw what they like. The author of Keijo!!!!! didn't draw it just to make a quick buck, heck mangaka is the last job to do if you want to make money in the first place. He draws it because he likes to draw it, and it got an anime adaptation because it got popular enough to get one.
