why the fuck do scanlators have such a fucked up sense of copyright lmao
like translating something into english is work, but manga aggregators like kissmanga that make it possible for all manga to be accessible from one location don't do any work?
Because their audience doesn't give them as much praise, gratitude, and general attention as they feel they deserve. To be fair, it's not entirely unwarranted given how little most people understand about the scanlation process. People only ever thank you for translations but never appreciate how things like cleaning, redrawing, and typesetting take far more work.
That disconnect between the audience and the scanlator is what causes the drama.
If they didn't do it, someone else would. There's an endless number of people who can translate from Jap to English, and plenty of them would do it for the tiny amount of fame it gets them.
Because if you put in a lot of time helping other people it's nice to be appreciated. And because the vast majority of scanlators are manchildren with the emotional maturity of a pregnant, teenage woman.
Remember when Aereus got butthurt that someone translated the Boku Girl side chapter instead of him so he threw a fit and quit translating it altogether?
And to this day the final chapter remains untranslated.
If you did something solely for appreciation and somebody came and tried to take that away from you you'd be pissed too. It's like being a 4chan janitor and one day Hiro messages you and says "we got someone new faggo you're no longer needed here." You put in all that work for nothing.
Well yeah. Translation is the most important part. You can read an uncleaned raw if you've got a text translation for each page.
They want people to suck their dick. That's why they don't want their releases redistributed. People on aggregate sites don't suck their dick. That's why they don't want other people to pick up series that they're doing. People that read other translations don't suck their dick. And then there's also the ones that try to make money off the whole thing, those are usually the ones that plaster giant watermarks everywhere. As if their name is more important than the author's.
>manga aggregators like kissmanga that make it possible for all manga to be accessible from one location don't do any work
Those sites do it for the money from ads, baka.
Translators normally don't get paid so they think they deserve respect and shit like that.
Hypocritical. Maybe they should consider how the magaka doesn't want them to pirate their shit either. Scanlation is piracy, so its absurd to care if someone else distributes something you've already stolen.
/a/ should just start learning Japanese. Once you know around 500 characters, you get a good idea of what's being said, and you will be able to identify stroke orders for characters you don't know which makes it possible to look them up online without losing much time.
Besides using google translate for words/sentence structures I don't understand, it's a pretty effective way to read manga that doesn't get any attention from translators.
define 'work', because i'd argue that it's harder to write crawlers to download manga from a wide variety of scanlation sites than it is to translate a few pieces of text into english from japanese.
as for 'profiting off of other peoples' works', translators do just that when they ask for donations. they weren't given the rights to translate.
>tfw anonymous translatorfag on /a/
>tfw find my stuff reposted on reedit and Tumblr but never complain
I can read raws if I really want to expend the effort, but there is still a ton of kanji I don't understand and constantly using a dictionary breaks immersion. So I'd rather read a translation.
Not all scanners are like that, for every Reddit-tier drama queen there are ten based scanlators quietly doing their work so others could enjoy it. Look at the guy running Habanero, he brought back or finished several dozen manga from the grave and scans a ton of ancient manga that people didn't even know existed and will probably never read
Aereus was such a bitch. He would just disappear for months at a time with no explanation and expected nobody else to pick it up. I'm surprised he went as long as he did without anyone else translating.
If you're going to translate, do it for the right reasons; giving back to the community that gave so much to you. Take that epeen and literally fuck yourself with it otherwise.
>i'd argue that it's harder to write crawlers to download manga from a wide variety of scanlation sites than it is to translate a few pieces of text into english from japanese.
I am a software engineer and proficient in Japanese. Both types of work come with their challenges. Writing a crawler is far from being rocket science.
I respect novel translators a lot and don't think their work is easier than mine.
>someone ""stealing"" their project
Daiz got super butthurt once for an entire 3 or 4 months because of a joke subgroup that just puts memes in their subs instead of actual translations. He tried to get them banned on nyaa but the admin unbanned them so he got even angrier.
I used to do translation from english to spanish for some time. It was nice to see some of my translation being used for jiggles.
Then some faggots started to get mad for translating their "projects", even after asking for permission. It was stupid, so I sometimes would translate them just to make them rage. good times.
You're fucking retarded if you support chinese ad-laden malware-spreading sites like mangafox or kissmanga over batoto where all the fucking scanlators upload their own work to
You have the choice between
-page the people who do it for free trust
-chinese who steal the work of others, get rich off of it and infest your pc for free for free made
and you choose the chinese?
>You put in all that work for nothing.
Theoretically, you put in all that work so people would read it. Wouldn't you be happy it was "stolen"? Speaking as a scanlator, I don't give a shit if people "take" my work unless they're going to slap watermarks all over it or downscale. I want the manga to be read in as high a quality as possible and spread around. The conflict here comes from the fact that he's only doing it for appreciation, in which case you should pick up a hobby in which you create your own things instead of touch up someone elses.
~55% is more than enough to get an idea of what's going on through context from images and other accompanying text. manga isn't shakespeare and nip speak has very simple grammatical structures. you'll end up recognizing a lot more than 500 if you keep reading manga, even if you don't give a shit about learning any more due to how frequently they appear.
No they used nyaa which made it even funnier. They even altered the file extension of their releases and said that they made a file format better than 10bit even though it was just a renamed mp4, which made Daiz blow a fuse.
Batoto has a smaller selection of manga and I use adblock on both my phone and my computers.
>why would you go to a supermarket when you can go to 10 different stores to get your groceries instead?
>You're fucking retarded if you support chinese ad-laden malware-spreading sites like mangafox or kissmanga over batoto where all the fucking scanlators upload their own work to
Is this a meme or something?
By your logic, you should know what 誤魔化す means because you know 500 characters.
The reality is, with your method, you'll think it means something awkward like "change into a mistake demon" when it actually just means "to deceive"
The only difference between those sites and Redditoto is lack of watermarks in the latter. Also, manga fox is just a wasteland now because literally every series is licensed and therefore unavailable.
I can also use jisho. Machine translations are extremely efficient when translating individual words at a time.
Some teenager on the mangafox forums argued with him and won and he nuked fucking everything.
It was kind of shitty at the time because he was releasing so much Nozoki Ana chapters. He relased like 30 chapters in a few weeks.
I'll also add that if I'm unfamiliar with an awkwardly phrased sentence, I have the freedom to rewrite the sentence to make it easier for the machine translation.
Yeah it's impressive that you know a lot of Japanese, but for the purposes of reading Manga you don't need fluency.
>Bitching about fundamentals of the internet
>On the internet
>but never appreciate how things like cleaning, redrawing, and typesetting take far more work.
As someone who does that shit all the time, it takes times, a lot of fucking time, which is probably part of the frustration
Pirate sites are just aggregators, it's individuals, like the dude in op, that 'do' things.
That's what you get for not knowing Japanese. Suck it up.
>study japanese in university
>work as an english teacher in japan for minimum wage and no hope for career progression
>come back to the us by my mid 30s and translate manga to earn the respect of teenagers on the internet
If what you're saying is "learn 500 characters then you can understand some stuff and use a dictionary for the rest" then my answer is "OBVIOUSLY". No duh, yeah, you can use a dictionary for words you don't know. Wanna know something? You could do that without knowing ANY words as long as you had an inkling of grammar.
Your method of "characters" works for words with only one kanji, but once you get into compound words (i.e. words with more than one kanji) then it's over, you lose.
You just said that programmers = websites and computers = people.
>If they didn't do it, someone else would.
So what's this argument about then? Seems like you just conceded to my point. Most of the compound characters end up being piss easy shit like 終電 or 常連 anyway. As long as you can recognize the frequently appearing Kanji, you don't have to waste too much time referring to a dictionary.
>yfw got scolded by the guy who just posts the raws of manga on the internet for basically editing/typesetting one chapter and releasing it despite both translation and raws being public and there being no indication that his preferred scanlator is doing anything
>scanlator comes in and shows he is actually working on it
>me and scanlator finish the volume together anyway
Really rude, I hate people going butthurt over absolutely nothing.
Not only I don't appreciate cleaning and redrawing but I also hate it and oppose it with all my force.
Leave the fucking source as it is. I don't want white shit, I want paper texture and I want actual grey.
>what is quality?
Sites like mangastream are a cancer.
>but he's stealing too! Think of the artist!
Artists shouldn't have any word about their works after they've created them.
If you bitch about the non profitable diffusion of art you are a stupid bitch.
We seriously need another "official" site because Batoto is shit.
>Not only I don't appreciate cleaning and redrawing but I also hate it and oppose it with all my force.
Really, you oppose redrawing?
What do you want scanlators to do when there's text written on top of the image? Just leave the Japanese as-is and write in the English somewhere else on the image or as a side-note?
That's false. Even if you know 2000 kanji and read grammar guide multiple times you will only be able to decipher manga with a help of outside tool. You have to learn a lot of vocabulary too and above all else, practice a lot. No, your first ten raw manga won't go smoothly.
>series of really good doujins from comiket
>first two got translated fast
>third one took like over a year to get translated by the same guy
>fourth and fifth and two bonus side stories were out
>no word from translator
>some fucking hero comes out of nowhere and translates them all in like a week
>wasn't perfect but got the job done, especially for such a fast translation
>original translator immediately comes out and bitches at new guy
I fucking hate these faggots. I'd take a translation with a few spelling mistakes and awkward wordings over your "project" that will never be fucking finished.
Batoto doesn't host the fucking manga because they're retarded sjw.
You don't need redrawing if you don't fucking delete the original effects (which by the way a lot of publishers consider part of the artwork and therefore don't delete already).
"Cleaning" is cancer. It's like "Restoring" paintings from 1400. You don't fucking do that because you're not the original artist, you simply make it so that it can't get damaged anymore, you fucking work to conserve it in its state.
Hey I ain't got time for learning shit for my hobby.
If it's something you can pick it up as you go, that's all good an dandy.
But something that requires me to sit down and actually "study" shit? Nah, fuck that. I already have my hands full on my work.
why doesn't anyone make a site where you can upload raws and use crowdsourcing for the translations? you can use some kind of upvoting system to make it more likely that the most accurate translations get posted.
>You don't need redrawing if you don't fucking delete the original effects (which by the way a lot of publishers consider part of the artwork and therefore don't delete already).
I'm not sure I follow you, sorry.
How do you handle stuff like this image?
Being able to understand japanese is amazing:
-no need to beg for translations to bitchy, entitled people of the scanlation scene
-no meaning lost in translation
-no raws? Help yourself on amazon.co.jp or Bookwalker
If you don't expect to stop reading manga in the next ten years it might be a good time to start learning japanese anons
>Artists shouldn't have any word about their works after they've created them.
I agree, but as long as copyrights are a thing that's just your opinion. The point is that scanlators, having stolen someone else's work, should have even less say about what happens with them.
>Not only I don't appreciate cleaning and redrawing but I also hate it and oppose it with all my force.
So I take it you really enjoyed reading GTO scanlations? They really didn't care about cleaning and redrawing, and look how great it turned out to be. The original Tenjou Tenge scans had something similar going on IIRC.
>I don't want white shit, I want paper texture and I want actual grey.
Yeah, that's more of an issue with overleveling and overuse of shitty Photoshop anti-noise filters, which is something a lot of groups (especially speed scanlators) LOVE doing nowadays. Level correction and noise elimination CAN be part of the scanlation process, but it's certainly not all there is to is. I rarely do them, unless the original scans are REALLY bad.
My favorite thing about being fluent is when I'm flipping through doujins to see what to fap to and I don't even notice if it's translated or not since it's second nature now
How's it going on the DJT now that they moved it to /int/?
Considering it's a digital format I'd add a white space with the translation on the side. At least it's all original.
I don't respect a law just because it exists.
Yeah, don't put words in my mouth, there's nothing to protect inside a white bubble.
I said I WANT paper texture. I also hate those fucking filters, though, who fucking wouldn't?
This also. And no awkwardly translated porn dialogue.
2 years to be able to read most manga, 6 years for 98% of contemporary japanese materials at 1-2 hours per day.
>He still thinks Boku Girl hasn't been translated completely yet
>He wasn't in the threads from like 5 months ago with the anon posting the links to the translated Imgurs
I pity you fools
>So I take it you really enjoyed reading GTO scanlations? They really didn't care about cleaning and redrawing, and look how great it turned out to be. The original Tenjou Tenge scans had something similar going on IIRC.
Poorly cleaned manga is worse than uncleaned manga. The former burns out details. Especially when people decide to go wild with filters. The groups that did Negima were particularly prone to that.
>writing few scripts in powershell doesn't make you "software engineer"
You can stop projecting
I earn big money for solving complex stuff, can you say the same? No need to answer
well then you would have to learn Japanese and find Japanese raws, since that used to be the only English version GTO. I'm pretty sure the english version of Ranma 1/2 is still the flipped localized version too.
>work to conserve it in it's state
This is some epic level autism. We're talking about kid's comics that are printed on the cheapest possible recycled pulp, not Rembrandts. Wanting to "preserve" the look of a trade paperback is a fetish I haven't seen before, and I've been on here a long time. And with current manga, a large number of artists now work digitally, so its "original state" is an image format.
A properly scanned, leveled and cleaned version of a printed manga is its final form - if for no other reason than it won't crumble into brown dust in 10 years.
I can understand problems with VNs and LNs. It takes a significant amount of time just to read a novel, let alone translate and QC one. Even worse for a VN which usually have even more text than entire novel series and getting them to actually show English text can be non-trivial. If someone translates a VN they've got some serious dedication.
>Artists shouldn't have any word about their works after they've created them.
You'd have less art if at least some people couldn't make enough money off it to focus on that instead of wasting their lives in some shitty salary position. I can't believe there are people too stupid to realize this.
If you're that autistic that you can't deal with a bit of noise, just clean them yourself.
I've literally never even seen the point of cleaning. Cropping and truing the edges is nice, but cleaning is just fucking ugly, all the time. I actually prefer it when my raws look like scanned paper instead of detail-less trash because some 5 year old thinks it's closer to the original manuscript.
I can't imagine ever re-enabling English on the panda.
>Then some faggots started to get mad for translating their "projects", even after asking for permission. It was stupid, so I sometimes would translate them just to make them rage. good times.
>haven't worked on something in two years
>noooo he stoooooole it!
Truly the stupidest shit.
>those are usually the ones that plaster giant watermarks everywhere
Kissmanga and Batoto don't do that.
I'll never understand why people here suck Batotos dick when they refuse to host anything remotely adult in nature.
Thank god Negima is shit. Prison School on the other hand.
Are you retarded? I specifically took the example reinassance paintings to demonstrate what my stand on altering the original work is.
>its "original state" is an image format
Wrong. A manga is supposed to get printed on paper.
Fuck you and your cancerous "cleaning".
Pfffffffhahahahahaha, I buy manga after I read them without even reading them just because I like them.
I have a brain and I use it, I don't simply follow laws.
That's ok because as with everything 90% of manga is garbage so there would be no loss.
Batoto was also supposed to be a place to read online without resized images, along with no watermarks. The story of batoto is mangafox was making mad dosh from ads by hosting other people's manga transations. Mangafox was resizing the images to look like shit in additon to watermarking all the pages with their logo. Then the great watermark wars began, it started on credit pages(sometimes removed by mangafox) before spreading all over the pages. Batoto comes along saying ad money will go to the groups that host their projects here and people can rest assured they aren't supporting Chinese thieves. Somewhere along the line, I don't know how, the staff becomes shit and you have the batoto of today.
I have worked as PM in the .NET bodyshop for 2 years, never fucking again. Managing monkeys from india and slav "countries" that considered copypasted code from stackoverflow as normal practice and were rewriting unit tests to hide their fuckups is fucking beyond me.
And all of them were earning "big money" and "solving complex stuff" at paper
>That's ok because as with everything 90% of manga is garbage so there would be no loss.
If there was less, you'd still have 90% garbage, so that 10% would just be even smaller. You'd have less good art.
Scanlators suck Batoto's dick because they have (had?) a revenue sharing model where they'd give the scanlators money from the ads. So they'd get mad when people hosted their scanlations elsewhere because they didn't get their delicious piracy dollars.
>PM in the .NET bodyshop
>Managing monkeys from india and slav "countries"
>rewriting unit tests to hide their fuckups
Haha oh wow.
I can understand you being salty, project manager-kun. But not the whole industry is like that.
The people who make this sort of drama are certainly doing what they do either for an extra buck on the side or because they want to feel special, more often the latter, either way you're helping them get what they they want by making a shitty thread like this. You deserve a public ban.
I've worked with dozens of different scanlation groups and I can safely say:
Because of girls.
No, seriously. The VAST majority of scanlation groups have girls as leaders, something that doesn't happen as much in the fansubbing scene. Every time some drama happened, it was because girl leader X got angry over girl leader Y.
>people thinks i'm scanlating for free
Kek, i'm rolling on the money right now fags.
>tfw my japanese is better than my english
Translator here (kind of).
I don't get why you would be mad when someone steals "your" series. Aren't we doing this because we like the series and want others to be able to read it too?
People like you is why i madd a clip like that
I know. I'm agreeing with him. There just isn't enough talent to go around. The "the pirate sites will just tl it for us, we don't need scanlators!!!" argument completely ignores niche series, on a related note.
I'm glad I started learning 20 years ago. There is still so much stuff left untranslated. And even the best translations lose a lot from the original because the languages are so different.
Also what the fuck does that have to do with anything? I simply said that less people living off manga wouldn't be a bad thing.
>notto dis shittu again
Retard I said "some".
>lol I'm stupid guys but I'm only pretending so it's okay, right?
Why the fuck would you want to ruin something that you care about? Or something good at all?
>He translated things too
>>mentally ill pedo tranny
I'm not a tranny!
>Some group decides to do your series.
>Can't stop them anyway so just tell them don't get mad if I do it again.
>They say bring it on.
>Release the latest chapter.
>They get butthurt. And tell me I'm unfair for doing the ahead chapters.
>tfw when having to read some shitty translation because no raws anywhere to be found and the manga is not so good that you want to spend money on it
If I ever have a scanlation group I'll share every single raw I use.
Because sites like kiss generally take what the translator worked on and slap a stamp on it then collect ad revenue. That's the only thing I really think translators have a right to be mad about, getting mad about other groups translating something faster than you is just stupid, it doesn't affect you're ability to keep releasing at you're own pace in any way.
server money is one thing, but you also need a web dev to step up,set things up, and maintain it. I can understand why our current secret club abandoned raws, when your user base speaks English then it just takes up space.
We're sort of in teams these days. There's Team Bird Cafe (I'll work on more this weekend), Team Jitsu, and Team Monmusu. There's some overlap, of course.
Or you can come to irc, because we know how to contact her.
I have a question for you.
How come you guys often do a couple of chapters and then drop a series? I've been reading Happiness yesterday and I fucking hate having to read mangastream scans of it. It's ridiculous, why the fuck would those niggers want to do an author like Oshimi?
Sorry but I really don't want to take on more things. Also, my translations aren't that good. I am using translations to learn Japanese. But here is the first page
>Koinumaru-san is a bit strict but since she is so beautiful she is very popular in class.
>But she has a pretty low guard...
>Oh, she noticed me.
>What are you doing?
>I'd like for you to stop staring at me but...
I'm really getting tired of e-peen faggots whining at the slightest thing and people putting watermarks when it isn't even their works. Artbook scanners included.
I've been translating and scanning and ripping shit more or less anonymously here for the /a/ audience for several years now, although I'm less active now, and I never put a watermark or acted like a whiny bitch because I didn't get any recognition.
Goddamn, this is why I'm glad I can into Japanese and that I've got disposable income.
Well you should feel bad for having left us with niggerstream anyway.
Fuck off, Daiz, go back sucking that fakku guy's dick.
I really wish all niggerstream members get cancer.
>I never put a watermark or acted like a whiny bitch because I didn't get any recognition.
Why start doing it now?
What'd you do?
>tfw aked Hox to do Dousei Jidai for years
>tfw he's finally doing it
>tfw it's getting translated in my country
Better laugh about it.
Nigger we had I don't know how many threads about it, fuck off to the archive, I'm not your mother.
>Also, manga fox is just a wasteland now because literally every series is licensed and therefore unavailable.
mangafox has all the mangas for 3rd world countries to read
Mmh, I wonder who this might be.
Where do you think madokami rips shit from? For fuck's sake they even rip from Kissmanga instead of the scanlators.
Does Finland even have one good thing about it? They're just a shitty Sweden and Norway.
Not like a small thread will make a difference, they only care about the ones making profit out of it.
Madokami will be a safe heaven, I still remember the Manga traders happening.
>Nigger we had I don't know how many threads about it, fuck off to the archive, I'm not your mother
Searching it in the archive brings up posts literally saying that they DON'T downscale and resize their images. If you want to post bullshit without even being prepared to back it up I suggest you fuck off back to /pol/
Negima raws weren't exactly good. Scanlators did the best they could to make them not give complete eye cancer.
that trump meltdown this guy is having right now
>They released my work.
>I asked them to take it down, obviously, because they used it without my permission.
>Well apparently they put in a notice saying. "This is a temporary release. Please buy the official manga."
>I'm so sichk of this. I'm so sick of all my hard work being dismissed and devalued by people that keep fucking me over.
>I've been working 70 hour weeks for the last 5 years drawing this.
Or how about you stop being a newfag and lurked those threads?
Kissmanga downscales some manga nad reduces the quality of some manga. You can compare the dimension of the single image files with the one from the scanlators.
It was proved that they do all this at least for some series, since I don't give a shit about that retarded option I didn't pay much attention so I didn't gather proofs or save the post number.
Anyway if you prefer kissmanga to scanlators or madokami you're cancer.
They are. That's why most weekly manga from years ago look so bad. It's not so bad nowadays, specially for Kodansha series, since they've been released digitally as well.
>you get several hundreds of pages for less than like JPY 500
That's for monthly magazines. Weekly magazines are around JPY 250.
The major magazines are already doing it.
Jump has to be easily purchasable by kids with their money, so that's why it's still not really mainstream.
You're right, I was simply giving a broad figure to that anon.
Isn't Jump like 400-500 pages?
That explains the shit quality.
>has yet to post an example
Not the guy you are replying to.
Who cares? I dont see any ads on my phone and the images are good enough for what they are for.
If i cared to collect digital manga, id download the scans.
>people are defending shitty sites that resize and lower the quality of images
This place truly is dead
They don't """"deserve"""" anything. They are just losers who cannot draw, write, or animate, but still want to feel like the are part of that creative world by stealing the work of real artists. The only people who deserve praise are the translators who understand the author and expressing it in a new language to a wider audience.
One of the recent uploads.
>praise, gratitude, and general attention
I don't care, I only translate because I want more people to read the series I love. And it gives me an excuse to stare at the pages more. Of course, no one will snipe me because no one besides me and few readers cares about those manga. Well, I guess I have to admit I'm glad when some people besides me discover them.
And it's not like I don't like popular manga, it's just someone else is always translating it, so why bother?
Literally same file. Had to make a dot into the second bubble to post.
Hey, somebody has to do the typesetting. It's not as if every cleaner, redrawer or typesetter is a drama queen. It's jut that those faggots stand out more. Also, there are just as many cancerous translators, and this is coming from one.
That doesn't give anybody the right to complain. If you want people praising you and giving you exclusive rights to the shit you worked on don't try to earn that through clandestine comic translation.
Believe it or not, drawing manga and anime is 10x more time consuming and just as unrewarding. Yet you hardly see those artists whining like 12 year olds even though scanlators constantly steal their work.
>just as unrewarding
No, no, you don't get it. Most scanlation groups LITERALLY do it FOR FREE. And the artists whine all the time, just read those Shounen Jump artist talk pages.
That's super wrong. I translate and I really think it's much easier than typesetting (since I one-man-armied some stuff). In the end, I just can't do it without a typesetter, so you really need both otherwise there would be no releases. It's like, what's the point of a gun without bullets?
By the way, how does one manually upload to Kissmanga? I'm asking in case something gets deleted from bato.
Several reasons. Hashes are never used in the scanlation scene, so repacking doesn't matter. In fact, there are groups that don't release archives and just put them on shitty online readers, so sometimes you just have to pack them anyway. Aside from making organization easier, it makes reading manga easier. When your manga viewer automatically loads the next chapter, it won't load them out of order if they're named correctly. It also makes it much easier to deal with manga programmatically when it's named correctly.
For the thousandth time, I've been in several threads where they proved Kissmanga resizes and reduces the quality of some series.
They don't even get the manga from the source sometimes.
>For the thousandth time, I've been in several threads where they proved Kissmanga resizes and reduces the quality of some series.
For the thousandth time, I've been in several threads where they proved Kissmanga doesn't resize and doesn't reduce the quality of some series. Two can play this game.
>I've been in several threads where they proved Kissmanga resizes and reduces the quality of some series
Then link to the archive post faggot, so far you've done nothing to prove your side of the argument. Despite others doing so and completely proving you wrong.
Its not like its more effort, its downloaded while you're reading anyway.
I read all my manga on a tablet and Perfect Viewer is vastly better than any online reader.
Except you haven't.
I just found this, not a proof but shows people other than me know about the thing.
Then read less garbage, shiteater.
>I found this
>it's not proof but it is an old thread where I tried to force the same opinion
WOW, literally perfect.
They are under age amateurs in the nip, or engrish language. They do it because they actually enjoy being the one to translate it for other fans, or for be epeen points. They sure as hell not professionals. Then again, I remember the localization faggot at Funi going off blaming GamerGaters for shitty on him for changing a line in the Prison School dub.
At least they are not paid for their drama. This fuck was.
Same file again
this is terraformars 200 page 2,
Eh, it keeps it interesting. If you've never experienced e-peen it's incredibly intoxicating. To be important.
However the only thing that really kills a translator is A Real Job™. Scanlators justify it with other shit because they like the drama but that's the truth.
