Any news about Yakumo-san volume 3? Volume 2 comes to end, only 2 chapters+extras left.
Anyone care to do this? it's a new oneshot by the author of Senyuu
it's also fairly shot for a oneshot
I Wish someone would pick up these
also the group that does this visit /a/ often
does anyone know what happened to them? last updates were months ago and before that 1 year ago
>his mom will never die
>no summary anon anymore
I need my dose of Keijo.
4 weeks without a new chapter, literally 66 chapters behind (latest translated chapter: 98; latest chapter: 164) and there's a new release each week, at this rate the gap will only increase
I already asked on another thread but might as well try here too.
Any good guides to try and git gud with PS for redrawing and stuff
>last update 2517 days ago
who would be the saint that will finish it?
I dunno about that but definitely learn to use the pen tool. Make some basic shapes with it. Practice cutting out transparencies with it. The pen tool is super useful and you can do a lot of neat things with paths. It takes a little bit to get the feel for it, but once you do, it's the fastest way to draw a perfect curve or cut out a character with crazy hair from their background. You can get good with it and start making high quality vector graphics.
The clone tool is also super useful for a lot of redrawing issues, particularly screentones.
If something you did doesn't look quite right, you don't have to erase it and redraw it all the time. You might be able to just free transform it. Stretch this bit or skew that bit. Scale it a little.
Hold alt and click to choose colors. Change the opacity to blend things, don't actually choose a lighter color. Use the color black and a very low opacity to do shadows, again not just selecting a darker color.
Tons of good photoshop tutorials out there, but there's no substitute for just diving in head first and practicing, so head over to one of the boorus, grab some images, and erase the text on them and start redrawing the bits underneath. I went to the little girl cartoon thread and helped them with fanart they were translating when I was learning but it seems like they don't do that as much anymore.
Good luck, anon!
This one is very good:
This one is more about cleaning, but there's useful stuff for redrawing too:
Watch the videos to get the gist of how the whole process is supposed to look like:
If you're interested in typesetting and cleaning, check these guides too:
And check these links, especially decensoring guides:
Wow ,that's a lot of information and really useful links. Thanks, I'll have to read a lot of these.
Trying to resurrect this. A guy might be willing to do simplistic TS (no SFX) for me on ch1. Ch 1-3 are basically machine translated, they need to be redone. 4-6 have decent translation. And then it'll have to be uncharted territory.
Can anyone translate this one. It's sorta of a Prequel to Pandemonium: Majutsushi no Mura.
Anyone just not really care for this much anymore?
How much money you got?
>can I try?
>where's the raws and how can I contact you?
Some raws on the internet have been re-compressed. These are the best quality.
Just go to http://ak-scans.wikia.com/wiki/Suggestion_box and post in a comment section.
no, i can read kana and know some basic grammar, but translating stuff is far beyond my skill
i'll only use it if the scanlator unintentionally skipped some dialogues, contacting them just to translate a few sentences is a pain, especially when they only check their email once a week.
Just curious, who's google drive is this?
Just wondering, because i'd be really interested in translating what it has of Sentou Hakai Gakuen Dangerous. There's like 2 volumes never scanlated, never seen.
Does any one know if this manga was ever translated? Name is "Sakura*Nadeshiko"
>Finaly get around to building a new computer
>Old as fuck but still useable ps7.0 refuses to install on new rig
>Too stupid to figure out how to pirate a new one
;_; Ah well, wasnt really good at this stuff anyways
REDRAW OR DIE
LIFE IS AS EXTREME AS YOU WANT TO MAKE IT
anyone pick this up yet?
The typesetter for Gal Gohan says he'll work on it if he doesn't find the cleaning too bad, so hopefully we'll be doing it. I'm going to start working on it in a couple of days.
Anyone well versed in in サブカル, please translate Halcyon Lunch. Comedy is Samura's strongest forte.
The rest of the team is ready whenever you are.
Why is this allowed?
>caring about drama
>He says will complaining at the same time.
Sorry anon, gossiping about shitty TLs is part of the drama as well. After all, that was how people end up knowing Kisu Kisu Manga as the scanlation version of Hadena.
>cute busty OL
>only translated in spanish
please end me
http://seiga.nicovideo.jp/comic/22778 raws are here pls translate
If no one does pick this up it's something I was planning to use over the next couple of weeks to learn to clean, typeset and redraw, so even though it will probably be shitty this will likely get done.
That shit is horribly hard as fuck to translate, good luck finding anyone willing to.
It's already getting released in my country (they're up to volume 2) and it's like almost twice the price of a regular volume.
And, on average, how many chapters is released per month? I mean, if this group slows down to a crawl because of reasons (assuming I'm an impatient bastard) and I have the money to either commission another group to continue where they left off or donating to them in the hopes that they do pick up their slack
Do people even donate? Even if they ask and state that there, it doesn't necessarily mean that's what people give.
Just place the text over it and work from there using the clone brush. It's not rocket science.
Just wanting it to be done doesn't mean people will translate it right.
Is this per chapter? I've been doing it for free all this time. I know people that will pay me for redrawing and decensoring, I didn't know I could charge them for typesetting as well.
Groups that do JP>SPA TL usually have good taste. The ones that do ENG>SPA are bandwagoning pieces of shit.
Spic fanbase is retarded tho, too many mexican soap operas made them shipperfags with no exception.
Big delay in typesetting unfortunately due to the typesetter going on holiday. Should be back to work on it soon before the next chapter's out, though.
Yeah, it's a really irregular, pretty-much-quarterly serialisation - each chapter normally ends with 'the next chapter will be out in 3-4 months' and even then c.3 was a month after it was supposed to be. Next chapter is 'February or March'.
continue tonnura and murcielago, motherfuckers
/r/ Burapa translation.
One day, a high school boy named Rumi comes across an abandoned, decommissioned tram car, a place that could make a neat 'secret base.' He also meets the wildly energetic Fujino, who challenges him to a duel over usage of the space. Their duel is actually a very creative, competitive game played out in the public areas of the town. While Rumi almost can't believe what's happening, he has to admit that their 'duel' is the most fun and excitement he's had in a long time, much more exciting than his video games. Before long, Rumi and Fujino are friends, and their adventures with the abandoned tram car, soon named the "Black Parade," have begun!
Check out chapter 1.
