Agreed. I do like VOFAN's art but the backgrounds are really bad. Even a solid color would be better.

I really like the approach with the three parts of Bake compared to what they did to Kizu. I just think the aesthetic is right this time and I think there wasn't the right amount of gloss, something about Kizu's cover irks me but I can't point out what.

Either that or wait for translations. Owari 3 is almost translated and 2 off-season stories are already translated with a third being translated. And there are official translation of Kizu, and part of Bake.

The official translations you have to buy. Off-season stories can be read at any order and only with up to Owari + Kizu knowledge. And Owari 3 is the next part the anime will cover as well.

Most of the stories already adapted yes, there isn't that much motivation to have them fantranslated so you either wait for the official translations or learn japanese.
