Was Jotaro a good father?
In the end

it doesn't even matter
No, not at all. Loving your daughter isn't all it takes to be a good father.

Maybe (not)

He loved Koichi more than Jolyne

Why does his face in this pic look like a down syndrome?

Koichi is the main character of jojo's bizarre adventure, that's why everybody in the series love him. Parts 1-3 where only a prologue to part 4 aka koichi's beginning.
From what I remember, he wasn't a 'good' father maybe but he wasn't a 'bad' one either. It's understandable Jolyne resented him but that doesn't mean he didn't anything wrong. It was just easier to take her side because she was the protagonist.
People need to get past their simplistic views of parenthood, especially for a series where you know the characters can't be normals.

Does the non stop koichi jerk fest keep going into later parts? Seriously? That shit was already annoying in part 4. Little fag is almost as annoying as Polnareff.
Isn't it a thing where basically he wasn't around much for Jolyne because he didn't want evil Stand users to know he had a daughter?
