Naruto was actually sort of well-thought out up to a certain point.
This one's Fairy Tail-tier or even worse of thoughtlessly checkboxing every single battle shonen trope.
The only good thing about it is the rival character actually being a cool guy. But then again he barely appears anymore now.

The protagonist is extremely unlikeable and his face is extremely punchable.
