>kills off the best character in the manga, one that is winning popularity polls way after her death
>realizes that he has made a terrible mistake
>retcons the shit out of her death by bringing her back through amnesia or related asspull
Is it just me, or has he not been drawing Fuuka20's fuukas big enough lately?
I think I can see where things're going with that blond stud
It's time for NTR arc. Fuuka 2.0 is going to use this faggot as "comfort" while Fuuka 3.0 will probably turn MC down or reveal that she has a boyfriend.
The series will end with MC jumping off of the building he saw saw Fuuka standing on in the first chapter..
But is his song about her going to be about love? Probably not and that's where the misunderstanding is going to be while Fuuka 2.0 goes back to her old band member.
It's just gonna be a fucking mess and
I don't even know why I'm still reading this,
>>The series will end with MC jumping off of the building he saw saw Fuuka standing on in the first chapter
>Their first date was seeing Half and Half
>The series ends with MC jumping off a building
Its Seo,the man doesnt think.
I think the problem comes down to this, you can have a romance story and milk about 10 volumes out of it and be decent but Seo tries to prolong then to well over 30 volumes that doesnt fucking work, you can do that with a battle or sports manga because individual fights/matches can take a entire volume, romance cannot do that, its at best 3 chapters before it starts to overstay its welcome.
He would be much better off he stop trying to make romance series, he SUCKS at it because he doesnt understand pacing, because of that he tends to pull bullshit in a attempt to prolong the series but because he doesnt actually have anything planned he ends up writing himself into a corner.
He should either stick to much shorter series or just stop trying to write romance, I dont think the last is a option because its the ONLY thing he can write.
Nothing to SEOOO about, you can see million miles away its not gonna be a love song, just about mixed feelings or how he is ready to move on from her dead ex or something.
And the new n.1 Fuuka is just freaking out because of drama...
OH MY, WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?
THE ABSOLUTE MADMAN
>he is writing song about her
>but it's going to be about how she reminds him of 1.0 but he still loves 2.0
>2.0 has wrong idea from this chapter
>goes off with other guy for some NTR chapters
>she doesn't turn up for festival
>Yuu sings alone at festival
>2.0 turns up and hears the song, cries and everything is better again
Alternatively she could just be getting cucked
>writes the song as a way to finally move on
>is excited to confess to 2.0 after the concert
>while he's singing his heart out 2.0 is fucking the blond guy
>sees them the next day and realizes what happened
>goes to the rooftop from chapter 1 and puts on headphones and plays the song he wrote about 1.0
>jumps thinking he will finally be reunited with Fuuka 1.0
>in the end it turns out 3.0 was actually 1.0 all along
Seo would do that too.
>they reconcile on the roof
>plane-kun hits them
Why would they ruin a romantic scene with something like this
I'm pretty sure it's not even POSSIBLE to end up in that position from sharing a fucking jacket.
Felt like something out of Tlrd
Of course she is the girl. And she got closer to him when she appeared to not let him go. What a homewrecker.
Trucktards btfo. Hopefully it will be fixed in the anime.
>Bullying the cake
She looks pretty good consider everything she's been through in her own series and this one.
Was this her way of saying that he isn't getting any?
>guy you originally like dies in a car accident the day after confessing
>some faggot comes along some time later and confesses to you forcing a kiss onto you
>violently slap the shit out of him but realize that you like him too
>start a relationship that turns out to be absolutely horrible
>more shit happens
>get pregnant completely ruining your dreams to the point where you are considering an abortion
>have the child anyway
>she dies in a car accident too
Why does Seo hate her?
Ponytail and those glasses. This girl is cheating.
>It was pride
Bullshit. He tried to apologize, he just did a terrible job of it and ended up insulting her.
Flat ass bitch
How to make a girl look older?
Just give her lipstick.
At least you're not fapping to this.
There's no actual way for this Fuuka to be the original, right? For fuck's sake, everyone visits the memorial, even Fuuka's mom. I refuse to believe that any one author could possibly resort to such a tactic.
With Seo its always a possibility. Firstly, you have to remember that in his other works he has:
-Made the main female love interest pregnant out of nowhere
-Had the mc and love interest break up multiple times in the same story
-killed off supporting characters who get in the way of the romance of the mc
He has a history of doing extreme things, like killing off best girl Fuuka, in order to make the story "different" or in his opinion better. With all the negative reviews and opinions of the manga after Fuuka1's death, in addition to the continued popularity of Fuuka1 in all media and polls, he has realized that bringing her back would make people come back to read the manga for the tweest and because Fuuka is their waifu. Whether or not she is the real Fuuka is still unknown, but with Seo he could have actually revived her in order to get back that popularity he lost. There's a reason the wiki currently states that Fuuka may or may not be still alive.
Did he fall in love because she saved his life? Does Yuu just have a princess/hero complex? Best girl needs to trick him into failing/giving up/losing his life and then rescue him without Yuu figuring out who put him in that situation.
Is this show trying to shoehorn every single obnoxious trope imaginable in? What about the cheap misunderstanding cliffhanger that was just used to get some drama and went to nowhere? Why is this show so fucking bad?
The thing is, we don't know. It is exactly what Seo was aiming for, now that he might have possibly brought Fuuka back everyone and their mom will be following Fuuka again to find out whether he revived their waifu. This could go so many ways, obviously the manga is leading us on to believe that Yuu will be getting over Fuuka1 and get with Fuuka2, but this is Seo we are talking about. Still I am genuinely excited for Fuuka's revival, assuming Seo gives in to the fans.
What are you talking about? Seo knows exactly what he's doing. Killing the main love interest generates buzz, then bringing her back as if nothing happened also generates buzz.
I was really undecided if Yuu is interested more in V2 or V3, but this chapter made me sure V2 is the chosen one, he's going for a obvious ruse route, and worst of all i think this is gonna draaaaag
If Seo brings Fuuka back in any way all is forgiven, I don't care how shit the manga gets after that, I don't give a fuck about the band, I just want my precious Fuuka back. She was such a good character, we got so invested in her after seeing her grow up and develop. She was always kind, cheerful, and brought the story and characters together.
Seo giveth and Seo taketh away.
Initially, he didn't do it for the buzz or hype. He is quoted as saying that giving Fuuka amnesia or killing her off would make the story a masterpiece because it goes against the typical romance tropes. Now that its been more than 100 chapters since her death, and with the majority of the Japanese audience still salty about Fuuka's death, he is possibly backtracking his earlier decision. However the retcon in itself is controversial, so whatever he does someone will still be mad.
At least they still have another daughter.
For now anyway.
Its blatant that Yuu is seriously interested in Fuuka2, but with Fuuka3 its not that he is particularly interested in this girl, its that she resembles in so many ways Yuu's original girlfriend Fuuka. His actions towards Fuuka3 simply show that if Fuuka1 was still alive he would still be in love with her. Thus, if Seo decides to actually make Fuuka3 the real Fuuka just with amnesia or whatever, we know that Yuu will likely get back with her. On the other hand, if Seo does the more realistic move and makes Fuuka3 coincidentally similar to Fuuka1 and not actually the same person, then as you said Yuu will realize his feelings for Fuuka2 and will show that in his song.
>if Seo does the more realistic move and makes Fuuka3 coincidentally similar to Fuuka1
Even her being alive is more realistic than that. She's not similar, she's exactly the same.
Nah he probably knows his reputation and knew from the start that killing Fuuka 1.0 would be an unpopular decision.
Honestly I doubt Sakura is Fuuka, if only because Suzuka and family act like she's really dead.
You can do a lot of mental exercises with aminesia and still won't be as unlikely as "coincidentally this new character is exactly like this old character."
ESPECIALLY after finding out a girl with the same name, that's too much
After going through most of Seo's shit, It looks like Princess Lucia is his only series without any NTR and that has an actual happy ending without being bittersweet.
I've also come to the conclusion that Seo has a serious sameface problem.
There are only 3 times so far in the manga that we see the reaction from Fuuka's family.
Firstly during the funeral for Fuuka, its stated that her family is not showing any emotion.
Secondly, during the big concert where Yuu and the band play, Fuuka's sister seems aloof, while her father and mother are emotional, but only so far as they seem to be enjoying the music.
Finally, when Yuu encounters Suzuka at Fuuka's grave, she isn't really emotional, but rather wants Yuu to forgive Aoi for what her father did.
Now, the scene at the concert itself is really major because Fuuka appears as a ghost and there is a whole scene with her talking with Yuu about going forward, in addition to her family's reaction, but aside from that the other two scenes suggest the possibility that Fuuka is not really dead. Because we have both sides of the spectrum Seo could still go either way and have it be justified, so it really just depends on what his plan is going forward, but its not entirely impossible for Sakura to just be Fuuka with amnesia, especially considering this was originally going to be how the manga would go.
>I've also come to the conclusion that Seo has a serious sameface problem.
Well, nobody looks at the faces, anyway.
This wouldn't be a problem if Seo hadn't led us all to believe for the past 100 chapters that Fuuka is actually dead. If Fuuka had just disappeared amnesia would be fine but now the problem is justifying why Fuuka is still alive when everyone, including her family, acts like she is dead. Coincidences like finding someone with the same name or who acts the same way are actually pretty common in manga like this one, Hell Seo even did the same thing in Suzuka with Akitsuki's resemblance to Suzuka's previous boyfriend.
Its kind of disappointing that Seo rarely draws full nudity or hentai scenes in his manga, because he has shown in the special 8 chapters he wrote for Kimi no iru Machi that he knows how to draw really good h-scenes.
Princess Lucia was the fun one where the MC was basically the most powerful being in the universe on account of having all the archdevil's daughters (by proxy the archdevils because they are all pushovers for their daughters), two angels, and an archangel with an army as his harem, and three S rank monsters as daughterus right?
Something like that. To be more specific, it's the one with the trap. Not a reverse trap, but an actual trap that wants the MC to fuck him.
It's the only light hearted series without any of the typical Seo shenanigans that I can think of that Seo has done.
not NTR but I think the guy Suzuka originally liked getting killed set the "girl hasn't moved on" or "isn't interested in romance" vibe, like she still had lingering feelings for her senpai, which Yamato had to overcome. could be wrong, it's been years since I've read it.
Outside of Half&Half, pretty much everything he writes is a harem.
